I have been an otaku for about 10 years or so now. But I watched some anime before then do to having an older otaku sibling.

2012 is really when everything got kicked into gear though.Samurai Champloo, Inuyasha, Ginga, Lucky Star, Cowboy Bebop really ignited my love for the medium, and I haven’t looked back since!



My favorite genres are Historical, Seinen, Slice of life, and GL. But I also really like BL , Kemono, Monster Girl, and ‘Moe’ series.
I also really love Romance anime/manga in in general. Bonus point if they are just pure fluffy cuteness! But angst is good as well.

I also have a fondness for series set in the Middle East or are in an Ancient Egypt inspired setting. Since I am actually part Arab and Egyptian. I love seeing how others interpret these places. No matter how ‘accurate’ it is.

But I am willing to give most manga in particular a shot if the art or themes are interesting enough.



Other hobbies of mine include figure/doll collecting, thrifting/antiquating, drawing, reading, raising animals, photography, and studying history.

And besides anime, I love cartoons! Gravity Falls is one of my absolute favorite series, and I love many more! I just love animation in general to be honest.
But I also enjoy some non-animated series as well. Usually crime shows and stuff like that. I also like reading the occasional comic.

I am much more active on Anime Planet! I also mass update my anime and manga on MAL in bulk, so the order of my watched/watching is not accurate at all
