Season 2 is coming this Summer, so your wait will not be for too long.
It's one of the animes that the comedy in it made me crack out louder laughs & of course, as you've mentioned the fight scenes are very well done. I love Kafka's character & how easy going he is. Actually, all the characters were very well designed & the voice actors did a great job representing them. And that OP by Yungblud is FANTASTIC!

Kaijuu 8-gou is an AMAZING choice as well. It has some of the best comedic scenes as well. Honestly I can't wait for season 2 to drop & that OP song got me rocking every single time.

Kenjiro Tsuda is one of my most favourite & extremely recognisable voice actors. I think that you're talking about the reunion of Nowak & Jolenta (the father and daughter scene). I saw that & I just have to say: You're mean XD

people have doubts when I suggest it to them because it's an old anime, but when they actually start it, they know what a delight it is.
I promise you that you won't stop smiling with this one 100%.

I just finished season 3 and it was beautifully devastating, I am an emotional wreck now for sure haha. I was only planning to watch a couple episodes and i just had to binge it. The ending was so beautiful and I think i cried in like every episode lol ;-;

I love Kyo and Yuki too! When I watched the first season I was leaning more towards kyo, but as I watched season 2 I'd have to say my favourite character now is Hatsuharu, and Rin is a close second! It's so hard to choose though haha all the characters are written and portrayed so well, I like all of them for different reasons (except akito lol)

Well, as for shojo, I'd say go for Kaichou wa Maid-sama! & Lovely Complex. They are both GREAT. Personally, though they belong to the old style art & animation group, I've re-watched them several times.
As for sci-fi, I checked & you've already watched the first season of Steins Gate, so you'll have to continue with the movie & the second season. And, I VERY STRONGLY recommend you watching Kaijuu 8-gou. It's really great on all sides & it hasn't been too long since it aired. Also, if you do watch it and like it, then you'll be ready for the next season dropping soon.

Basically, everything you've mentioned except for Dragon Ball, I'm watching & excited for.

If I'm to recommend some new animes, then I'd say try these:

1- Douse, Koishite Shimaunda. It's a nice shojo romance if you like the genre.

2- Kuroiwa Medaka ni Watashi no Kawaii ga Tsuujinai. Romance with extra cute vibes & funny moments.

3- Tasokare Hotel. A mystery supernatural anime that has potential.

This is from this season. If you want some recommendations regardless of its airing times, then let me know which genres you're in the mood for & I shall make some recommendations based on your preferences.
