Hi I'm Nobu, got into anime during Covid and can't let go lol. I also love FGO. Financebro and married...just trying to find some time to watch here and there, and have fun with it. I don't drop anything and I use the whole MAL rating list as-it-is, and do not rate objectively.
Anime that are "on-hold" are airing seasonals and includes items I have not updated in 10 business days.
I am a fan of
MAL Challenges, and I am eager to engage with folks with similar taste (or not -- open to any discussion!)
I also read manga, but I am convinced that I won't have the capacity to update my list on here. But who knows?

Hahaha! Your situation with your wife reminds me of my own parents, that's the way it was for them as well. My mom would pick out all the stuff and my dad wouldn't even know half the time what anybody was getting. What does your wife usually buy your kids, video games?
No hurry, I am looking forward to hearing your thoughts on Cardcaptor Sakura when you do though. I think it will be an experience for you. 😁
Perfect! I thought you were gonna say Record of Ragnarok S3, since that's also arriving this month. I love that slop show, definitely a guilty pleasure of mine. But 100 Meters is a very pleasant surprise.
Kenshin won me over, too. She's a nuke built for Servants, and using her in the event made me think she's cool as hell. Definitely rolling for her. And since she's a ruler, she's super easy to ascend and skill up.
All the manga I've read was in childhood and was pretty much impossible for me to "complete", since my dad would buy me them from the bookstore. But I was reading Naruto, Inuyasha, Dragon Ball, Yu-Gi-Oh, and the like. All very long shounen series. I'll definitely turn my focus back to them one day. I just don't want to list them as Dropped here since I plan to reread everything to completion anyways, eventually lol.
I really looked forward to the My Hero episodes each week, much more than usual with that series, actually. It's always been kind of middling for me, but this season has been above and beyond.
To Your Eternity has me feeling the same way with the current arc. Psycho Murder Loli going sicko mode is just too fun.
Gachiakuta has grown on me a ton. It's exactly the type of edge genre I usually turn my nose up at, but I find myself enjoying it now.
Spy Family is always a good watch with the wife. One Piece is just great right now, enough said lol. Pokemon is just Pokemon. And loathe as I am to say it, One Punch Man is quite disappointing. How about your seasonal picks?
My exams are from 5 to 15 december so i will be good busy
I just a couple hours ago watched the first episode to the new season of spy x family , its good but i was too hungry to focus honestly;;;
How was monogatari? Ive been planning on watching that whole series for forever now
in last sem, our seniors were given task to create a small 1-minute video of college campus and do a small radio show . Maybe we have to do this in the last sem . Bt for 2n last sem , it depends of the guy who is gonna take our pratical exam.
The whole premise of Ordeal Call is really goofy. The reason a barrier is preventing us from returning to Antarctica is… because we used Extra Classes…? Piss poor writing, lazy as hell, and obviously very dumb. But the execution in Paper Moon is actually pretty solid. If 2.5 is really going to be based on something this dumb, I’m glad the actual Singularities still have effort put into them. That’s my 2 cents anyhow. And I’m kind of a fan of
Yeah, 7 is admittedly a bit generous. I was initially leaning toward 6 as I mostly consider it to be just above average as a romance anime, with its many cliches and whatnot. However, I feel it definitely deserves more credit not only for what it wants to say, but also the fact that it wants to say something at all. That's rare in romance anime. My wife loves it to pieces. Every day after we started it she would ask to watch more. She said it's a "white girl coded" anime, LOL.
To be honest, I can fully see why it's often accused of being wish fulfillment, I just know better from experience. It's really not that far fetched that more than one hyper cute girl would daisuki a guy. To put it bluntly, the disconnect comes from the fact that it is far fetched that more than one hyper cute girl would daisuki guys who self-identify as anime elitists, LOL. All this heated discussion around OreGairu's realism or lack thereof, and this point is never said out loud, despite it being the fairest and truest solution to the conundrum.
Yeah, part of why Yui is such a cool character is that she does begin as just a one-dimensional deredere—even if the author is intentionally being deceptive about that at first. In the following seasons, she breaks free of her own trope in one of the most hard-hitting ways I've ever seen, since I personally experienced something akin to how Hachiman must deal with her. Pretty much what gave her the edge over Yukino for me is just how true-to-life she ends up being. Looking forward to know your thoughts about S2!
Well trust me man it's hard having a second job, but it helps also that I'm single at the moment. I could imagine if you have a wife it would be a lot more difficult, so are you guys living in an apartment currently?
Dang bro that is crazy! I'm happy to hear you got married though, it seems like marriage in general is something you don't hear very much about anymore actually happening. Kudos to you and all 1 other six couples. XD
Honestly that's a good rule of thumb in general, I've never been much of a binge watcher myself. I watch anime slowly so I can really take in the storyline. At least in my opinion it works.
True! Guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens, where did you leave off in One Piece by the way?
Funny enough, I didn't actually read 1.5 with the exception of Shinjuku. Everyone told me that Shinjuku was easily the best story of the Remnants, and I thought very little of it, so I didn't care to read the rest. Worst FGO story for me though, yeah, Septem. I also have a big disdain for London, although I don't remember why LOL.
I do feel like a Fate route remake is a simple matter of time. The IP's popularity has absolutely skyrocketed, and it's free money for everyone involved at this point. It's a when, IMO.
I'm with your wife here, lol. The constant apologizing is irksome, and yeah, that reasoning totally checks out for the apologizing and general martyring the characters in that show seem to love so much. I think part of it is also uniquely attributed to Japanese culture things as well, though.
Hell yeah! I love that for you!!! OreGairu has a history of being shot down by snobs and even disqualified as "good romance", but all I really have to say on that at this point is that you and me (married gigachads with beautiful wives) have more of a say in romance anime than the forever alone, kissless virgin weebs who can only guess at what constitutes good or realistic romance. It's also the progenitor for a lot of modern romance anime. It's very unassuming in that way, since a lot of viewers probably chalk it up as "only another harem wish fulfillment" type of show, but it's obviously way more than that. Yui is an all-timer character for me, but even then she only narrowly beats out Yukino. I think Hachiman is special too, and I absolutely believe with my whole being that the author put more than just a little bit of himself into that character. If you liked S1, I'm keen to get your thoughts on S2, since that is where the series has a glow-up in several ways.
Its goign well ^_^
