1- I have a guttural dislike for these animes. Whether it be for their plots, characters, animation, etc. For an anime to earn a 1 from me it has to be a mix of all of these. Mary/Gary-Sue's, Waifu's, or any other trope has to be clearly present. Plot holes a plenty. You get the picture.
2- Not much better but at least /some/ enjoyment was found within its content.
3- Pretty bad but I managed to sit through the whole thing is a minimum requirement. Some spots in these animes I really enjoy. Even if that spot is as little as a few supporting characters.
4- Just a notch below average. To be sure a few things urked me throughout, whether they urked me a little or a lot depends on the series.
5- Average. The middle ground between bad and good, these animes have a little bit of both. Most of these animes were enough to get an enjoyable watch out of me.
6- Just a notch above average. A few things completely caught my eye and I loved them. Sure there are still flaws throughout but the good outweighed the bad.
7- Above average. Animes that are very fun get this rating from me, whether the fun is mindless, intelligent, colorful, etc. depends on the series. Regardless animes receive this rating when I greatly enjoy the watch.
8- Anime that I will gush over for a few days to a few weeks receive this rating. They earn a place into my heart for sure. I felt genuinely connected to the plot or characters throughout and finish with little complaints.
9- Beautiful. The plot, the setting, the characters, everything. That is the requirement to earn this amount of praise from me. An anime that keeps topping itself is sure to earn this from me.
10- There is no such thing as a perfect anime. But if one receives a 10 from me you can rest assured that it is nearly perfect. A masterpiece.

Hi, Great review about Fate UBW, well written, you really nailed the issue about he slice of life and harem aspect dragging down the anime. I agree with you!
I started the Fate franchise with UBW and was disappointed, so do you recommend watching Fate zero? Fate Stay night? and the movies Heaven's feel?
Lol the week late reply xD
I think my older brother has watched Ruroni Kenshin.. I don't know much about it.
I honestly don't remember when I watched Golden Time, but it was probably a year or two ago, but I remember I liked it up until the ending when it got all weird his other self :P
Yeah Disappearance was incredibly good, the ending slightly confused me though, didn't feel like Kyon properly resolved the conflict but the movie ended like it was done correctly, felt like there would be some kind of twist after he woke up in the hospital but it played it straight the rest of the time and didn't really have a climax. Not to mention the movie is vastly longer than most anime movies that it was kind of overwhelming, but still great overall, probably just didn't pick up on certain things the first watch.
Nothing too special so far, but from its praise, it's sure to get better, I believe. I like the old school energy I get from reading it; its authenticity is really refreshing, as its art isn't anything worth noting. I'm excited to see where it goes!

He said it was great, but he hasn't watched nearly as much anime as us, so I tend to doubt him xD
