Please, just don't watch this, I'm giving you my recommendation straight up due to how absurdly horrible this series is.
Let me first begin with the plot, wow another story where the MC is really weak, gets betrayed but then, oh guess what, turns out he's basically God and is unbeatable. The amount of times I've seen this plot used up has got to be more than a thousand times at least, like can't Japanese authors come up with anything unique anymore?
I'll go deeper into the show, from episode 1 it actually had a bit of potential but immediately to episode 2 there's a timeskip,
...
he becomes insanely overpowered with a harem, all of his subjects are attractive, revealing clothes, female characters besides like 2 males, insane amounts of fan service and just cringey boring, overused cliches and plot developments.
Even the revenge which is the main part of the story is just a bit above average, it's the usual cruel, merciless, emo thing all the braindead slop fans want. By making every character's personality bland and basic to the point of just cartoony evil feels so lifeless and sucks all the enjoyment out of the story. The reason why Shield Hero's revenge worked was because the characters all had actual writing and impact behind them not just inserts of overused, copied characters.
On top of that the good character's personalities are just as bad, it feels like their existence is pointless and always second to the MC to the point that they can't exist if they don't constantly worship and think about their lord the MC. Just because you are a worker for a powerful person doesn't mean you immediately become a servant who loses all personality and life. It's the same problem with Overlord too, just that this series took their ideas and did it 10x worse.
Everything bad about anime can be seen in this series, it has an annoying amount of fan service (before people come attack over this fan service isn't bad when done correctly), the story is horrible, the characters both good and bad ones are just disgustingly horrid and the fact that this is even a 7/10 while writing this review disappoints me.
In conclusion this series is enjoyable slop that people will eat about due to their obsession with anime and Japan. So, is it good? Not at all, I can't think of a single thing good about this series besides maybe the revenge wasn't all that badly done.

A heartwarming, emotional and happy anime, that's what The Fragrant Flower is. While it is one of the most enjoyable and fun romance animes you'll watch and possibly your favourite there are certain nitpicks and problems which makes this series not close to a ten.
First I'll list everything good, the main character Rintaro, the second FMC Subaru and Saku. These 3 characters are what really makes the series shine, all of them each have amazingly written dialogues, development, conflicts and in my opinion the best part is their voicce acting. Hearing the characters speak like they were real with actual emotions in their words felt
...
so strong and powerful and actual made me understand them and the difficulties they go through. Especially with Saku, his character seemed to be irrelevant but the few important times he talks you can see so much into his character and how he actually is.
Also the animation was incredibly well done, Cloverworks is already known to do romance animes good but this was beyond any expectations I had and really solidified the show.
Now what's bad about it, to me it's not that anything was bad but it was a lack of things that should've been done. First is Kaoruko, I'll be blunt, she is a horrible character and purely exists as fan service of the pretty, beautiful, perfect girl for the losers to call waifu, her entire character is 2D and is the stereotypical heroine in these romance animes similar to Fruit Baskets and My Dressup Darling. If you disagree with that then you clearly haven't seen any well written FMC's.
Next is the side cast, this I'm conflicted about since it does well with their voice acting, animation and personalities however the two problems I have are Usami and Natsukawa being purely plot devices, the anime did it well to make them feel alive but their only purpose was to serve the plot. Anytime they talked or did anything it only felt like it was forced, their few dialogues were only for that purpose and it could've been a lot better if it was more like Saku with a lot of mixed dialogues that deal with themselves, others or fluff to give them real characterization.
Finally this is something that the manga does but I needed more screen time on Rintaro's character in school, you're telling me he just got bullied for no reason as a kid besides being "scary" and was very depressed all his life until he just does a 180 when entering high school for no reason? Someone like Shoya from ASV did this well, his depression and bullying all stemmed from real reasons and gave his child version an actual character rather than just happening because the author said so. Also when Shoya enters high school he slowly starts to change until he has real reasons to make a big change to himself unlike Rintaro who was depressed and alone but then becomes basically normal in high school besides a few things.
In conclusion, this might be a bit of a nitpicky review but it is correct, TFFBWD is actually quite good and most people would enjoy it but when people call this the greatest romance of all time or a masterpiece 10/10, it's just clear bias.

Demon Slayer is the one of the most enjoyable and fun animes to watch and this movie wasn't anything different, it had amazing action scenes, voice acting, animation, moments, hype and was an all around fun experience but if you would ask me it as how good of a movie it was then it'd be a completely different answer.
First let me list everything it did right, the animation was done spectacularly in this movie, I assumed it being a movie would make it's quality worse but it was just as good as all the previous seasons, there were so many beautiful shots and moments that
...
not only blew me away but had me genuinely amazed by these artists.
Next is the fun, throughout the movie it had many insane and cool moments that got me on the edge of my seat multiple times, from the fights, backstories, emotions and all around experience, it definitely kept me entertained despite it's long length.
Thirdly the story, I know this franchise gets alot of hate for being a bad story with entertaining fights however this movie completely destroyed that hate, the plot was so well done from beginning to end and it really was amazing to the point that it completely surpassed every other season easily.
Finally the voice acting, this is something I haven't seen people talk about but I found that not only the sub but also dub was insanely well done and really made the movie feel a lot more emotional and immersive.
Now why do I think the movie is "bad", first is the pacing, this should've been a season and not a movie, the entire time it felt like we were just cutting from POVs and moments from here to there and it was all over the place. There was no overarching story but instead felt like moments just thrown together, if it was a season it could've definitely had a much bigger impact for certain moments rather then just going everywhere at random timings. Also without spoiling but the second half of the movie's pacing was horrible, it's not that the backstory and ending shouldn't have been that length but it should've been faster and not insanely slowly.
Next is the music, I personally love Demon Slayer music especially the first season however this movie flopped in this aspect. It felt like the music was barely playing and when it should've it didn't and made less of an impact with a quiet scene rather than a score playing behind it and the music it did play wasn't that good such as Akaza's original theme not being used.
In conclusion, this movie was one of the most fun movies I've seen in general, will I always think of it as a good time? Yes but I will admit that it doesn't go past the level of being a top tier movie and I would prefer masterpieces like Silent Voice over it.
My enjoyability ranking 9.3/10, my writing ranking 7/10, overall 8/10

Tatsuki Fujimoto is an author who is constantly going against the norm and this arc was made in the same formula. Now this is what causes mixed reactions to his works, to some it can be considered genius and deeply layered while to others it can be seen as simple with hidden messages that don't change the story and the thing is both POVs are correct.
Now to the movie, it all revolves around Denji's pursuit of love, from first being helplessly in love with Makima to the point of bliss and then being confllicted from his feelings for Reze. This is what the movie does
...
good, Denji is a naive young boy who doesn't know much, to make him follow his desires and illogical thoughts for others helps develop the character's relationshups in such a great way. The connection Denji makes with Reze and even the dynamics between Aki and Angel were extremely well done and it makes you feel for the characters, even the ones that showed up for a bit like the division 2 was done well by making them feel alive rather than characters to be used then thrown away.
This is what the movie excels at, characters and their relationships.
Now the problems, first the length, by making the movie only 1 hour and 40 minutes was a big mistake, extending the movie to add screentime to important moments would've made the movie even more provoking emotionally such as having the festival not being a montage or during the fight scenes having more thoughts or dialogue.
Next the fight, without getting into spoilers all I will say is that the fight writing wise was great but animation wise no, while Mappa is a leader of the animation industry I've noticed they seem to prioritize animation quality over the fight. In the movie it felt like I was just being thrown scenes that were cut together in a way that felt like nothing flowed, sure the explosions, movements and backgrounds looked amazing but to make the fight unfollowable if you're casually viewing it is just a terrible idea.
Finally one thing I will add is the "random" scenes that don't actually make the movie better but are only used purely for themes and symbolisms such as Reze's singing, literally no one would get in on their first watches even Russians, only is you searched it would you understand. This is a pet peeve but to force your viewers to have to search something to get deeper meanings instead of comprehension or analyzing it isn't a good thing and in my opinion takes away from the writing.
In conclusion, I think the movie was great, however it is not flawless and if the writers took the creativity to make Fujimoto's work better or uplift it more then I might've rated it higher.

A story of a man who strives to be the most powerful swordsman alive or also called "invincible under the sun", that's who Takezo or Miyamoto Musashi is. The manga Vagabond revolves around one man's journey to the peak of combat and fighting.
First what's good about Vagabond, to me the main character is done spectacularly. Miyamoto goes through all different experiences starting from a ignorant, blood-thirsty fighter, losing his battles, finding himself, learning the truth of his journey and finally the conclusion, everything Miyamoto went through felt so authentic and real, making me feel like I could understand and grow with him.
Next the characters, Vagabond
...
actually does this differently then usual, instead of having characters being introduced, growing, developing and having dynamics, what Vagabond does is introduce characters that have already completed their character development and have finished their writing. Now this is completely personal but I prefer characters that grow overtime instead of a cast that is all about ideologies, morals and actions. So for the character cast of Vagabond it's completely personal and wat type of characters you like to see, this doesn't mean Vagabond's cast is bad and they even have amazing characters like Denishiro or Matahachi but personally I think it could've been much better.
Finally the story, the world of Vagabond and it's story is extremely immersive from how people act, their morals, the story arcs, the way they talk, etc. Everything about how the story flowed and each individual arc was done was amazing besides some hiccups here and there.
In conclusion, if you like Seinen and fiction that have to do with dark or serious themes Vagabond is definitely for you. To me, while I do like serious fictional pieces, I personally know many that are better and have similar stories but Vagabond was still amazing.

A beautiful yet depressing novel that brings out the true meaning of human purpose and journey. From such a simple story of a young man having nothing to live for to slowly being able to appreciate life and humans.
What's so compelling about this story is that it's so simple, the protagonist is just one average boy. The things he experiences, his emotions, his struggles, everything he goes through is similar or the same as things we have. He's not some overpowered MC or a complicated deep character he's simply a regular guy who goes through an average life. Seeing this is what made this novel
...
so perfect to me.
Adding on to this is the female protagonist, her character and actions are very reflective of our society today and hit me deep. The way she is and acts due to the actions of others and the ways it affected her made me feel so many emotions that I thought a novel could never give.
In conclusion, this review is very simple, the novel is such a basic and simple story of two people's journey of a boy's last days on his life however the author perfected this so well and made it a truly unforgettable experience.

To Be Hero X is what a real suphero world would be like in reality. It has the perfect blend or realism, fantasy, entertainment, fights, emotion and writing and in my opinion one of the most perfect medias to represent the superhero genre.
First what's good at TBHX, I have to start this with the animation. The studio decided to use a blend of 2d and 3d with different artstyles, at first this threw me off with how unique it was but as I continued to watch it grew on me and became one of my favourite storytellings in anime with the many artstyles fitting each
...
individual scene from sadness, fighting, happiness, etc.
Next the characters, this is opinion based but to me all the characters were good in their own ways, each character arc was interesting and entertaining while not feeling repetitive or generic and then the whole cast together fits well and compliments each other.
Third the story, what first is a simple fantasy, self-insert story turns deep and dark into a whole new world waking us up to what is truly happening, without spoilers I can't say much but it will definitely hook you.
I could keep going about the pros, there are many but in short the fights, emotions, plot twists and pacing are all very good.
Now the negatives of TBHX, first is that all characters are not as good as each other, some are better while some feel rushed, bland, etc, obviously this is preference but it will make the viewing experience different if you prefer certain character types.
Next is the storyline, it keeps jumping all over the place and not consistent at all. It starts from the present and then goes to the past but instead of flowing it keeps going all over the place making you somewhat confused if you aren't focused completely on the exact years what happened and who knows. To me this was bad as some parts would've been better if it was delivered clearly however it also worked in the favour for some arcs.
In general I can't think of many negatives, to me I can nitpick some bad parts in TBHX however that's just for me but if I speak unbiased it honestly is very good.
In conclusion TBHX is an amazing Donghua, it fulfills almost every criteria you could want and appeals to everyone in so many different ways, it's insanely good however doesn't quite make it to perfect for me so a 9/10.

Lord Of The Mysteries is one of the greatest fictional stories of all time and the Donghua did not disappoint being an absolute masterpiece as well. This review will go over the entire Donghua as a whole and talk about it's flaws and positives.
First the flaws, the only main issue of the LOTM Donghua is the first 3 episodes, I'm not even joking. The truth is that LOTM starts of extremely slow paced and since it's trying to appeal to many viewers which most are only seeking short, fast and brainless entertainment, the studio decided to dump exposition and information with fights to hook viewers
...
on. However this was a mistake and caused a lot of outrage. Besides the bad directing and pacing of the first 3 episodes there are really no other flaws besides what your personal preference might be.
Now the positives, first I'll talk about the character cast. Klein Moretti or Zhou Mingrui are the protagonist of the story, with the desire to return home and search for a way back the main character goes through many encounters. From these he is forced to adapt to this cruel and harsh world for just a chance at survival, seeing him struggle through his time in this world and develop as a person not only externally but internally. Over time we also see Klein bond to these characters and the connections between them aren't shallow either which allows for many beautiful and emotional scenes.
Next the cast, LOTM has a decently big cast of characters, due to this not every receives equal screen time, some are talked about in passing while others are always on screen. However, this was perfect as it allowed for every character to shine on their own, rather than forcefully showing each character we can see how they act and their dialogues. This slowly built the characters each episode and allowed for amazing writing through showing not telling the viewers.
Next the story, while at first it feels like a simple and boring mystery with no actual reasoning behind it, that couldn't be further from the truth. What we slowly see as lucky or coincidences all make logical sense, the characters try to solve their problems but are only part of the puzzle. It honestly stunned me how interesting it was while also keeping it entertaining. Quite literally everything comes together and makes for an amazing story and plot. Being honest, there isn't a way I can describe it, it's more of a feeling you get as you watch the episodes, you feel uneasy, curious, suspenseful or even eerie from how or why this is all happening.
Now the emotions, this deserves it's own category as I got completely stunned by this, as someone who doesn't usually get emotional from fiction or stories LOTM managed to make me completely invested into it and had me even feel for the characters. This is obviously personal however I don't think anyone can watch this series and not feel something from it.
Thirdly the animation, I think I speak for everyone when I say LOTM is arguably the best overall animated media from Asia, just the backgrounds are enough to leave me speechless. On top of that the quality doesn't drop throughout the season at all and even gets better. From the characters, lighting, monsters, camera angles, etc, LOTM delivers on all of this and makes the viewing experience stunning and unbelievable.
Finally the entertainment, here is the big problem, this Donghua isn't for everyone. No matter how much I would recommend this and call it a masterpiece I know deep down not everyone could like it. The main issue is personal enjoyment and comprehension
First enjoyment is subjective, many people might like repetitive and slop isekai while others only watch Shonen or strictly Shoujo and copy and paste romances, because of this many people can't exactly find fun in a mystery where things aren't presented to you directly in words or need a fight every episode to keep your focus however I will always say to try anyways, perhaps you'll like it and it'll broaden your horizons.
Next comprehension, I'm not trying to act condescending when I say this but some people simply aren't smart enough for this, this doesn't mean you need to be intelligent to watch LOTM but at least have basic media literacy and comprehension, the amount of stupid questions I saw on social media within the first few episodes told me enough that this would get hated online.
In conclusion, Lord Of The Mysteries is a masterpiece, it takes a lot for me to praise something this high but LOTM easily shattered any expectations I had and is one of my favourite fictions of all time.

Monogatari is a series that is constantly praised by the anime community as a whole for being an amazing piece of fiction. So, I decided to try it and the result is very odd.
First let me start with the story, it's in a world where the supernatural exist and is constantly plaguing our characters and our main character, Araragi, is trying to help them all. You would assume it's pretty simple and turns out to be interesting but the reality is that it's anything but that. Let me say that each character arc is actually pretty solid, they go through their own reasonings and development
...
to try and overcome their issues and it plays out very nicely, the main issue I have is how.
First Araragi is shown as an altruistic person who wants to help except he just falls flat, his character is insanely 2d both personality and character wise and his actions are all over the place. One time he almost dies yet meets his possible killer with no apprehension and it feels like the author threw logic out the window.
Seconed I have is that there is no struggle, before you think I'm being ridiculous let me explain. Each arc plays out the same way, Araragi finds a person struggling, he watches them and learns of their problem and just goes to Oshino to get a solution, that's it. It's like Oshino has every single problem memorized and how to fix it, the supernatural are things that are unexplainable and reality bending not something you can solve with a talk to an old dude in 5 minutes.
There are many examples of the character's doing things and actions that deny or go against their entire development and arc such as Senjougahara many odd and strange actions/dialogues or after Kanbaru's character arc she just gets a whole 180 and makes it feel like all the pain and suffering and development she went threw literally a day ago never happen.
Finally the entertainment, for me this was the worst part. I'm not someone who only wants fights or fast pace animes, I actually loved LOTGH but Bakemonogatari is literally 15 episodes of conversations, every problem and solution is a conversation. Then the in between arcs are just conversations and then guess what to find out the supernatural is a conversation. You think I'm exaggerating but I'm not, you can watch an entire episode and the character's will be talking from minute 1 to the ending.
I would honestly not mind it that much if the directing wasn't so bad, there are so many degenerates who try to defend this by "it would too boring in a regular style" which is completely false as proven by many anime's. The directing feels so bad to me because it's just a still frame then a random flash or change shot to another frame and that's ignoring the many epilepsy seizures you get from the title cards or words flashing. Also the many scenes of fan service is disgusting, some scenes are actually necessary and vital to the plot but others are gross, who thought it was good to put a 12 year old in a swimsuit and flash her body or get Araragi acting sexual around kids or even just the many scenes of character's changing. Finally the OST's as well are quite strange, I actually liked a lot of them but at the same time I didn't, why do we need to get our ears assaulted by loud beeping and computer noises during a calm discussion between two people.
Overall Bakemonogatari isn't actually bad, if you look at it purely from an objective POV you would think it's actually good but there are a lot more factors in an anime than just writing. If this was a Light Novel or Manga I would rate it much higher but as an anime it was extremely disappointing.

Mob Psycho is the definition of "less is more". This anime is the greatest simple series I've seen, it has few core concepts and characters yet every single thing is done so flawlessly without neglecting something else.
First I'll talk about the characters, every person in this series is just your average joe, besides some having psychic powers we see that in reality everyone is equal and there's a clear underlying message through tout the season that everyone is human just trying to do their best and live. I love this so much as in a world where some humans are more naturally talented there's no
...
inequality or disparity and in fact is more about you giving your own individual effort. Seeing every character learn more about themselves and their life is so beautiful from Mob accepting himself and others to Reigen trying to overcome his self-conscience and depression or Shiego's inferiority complex and on and on. This season was filled with amazing characters and their dynamics all play so well together.
Next the story, again since Mob Psycho is a simple story the arcs itself were average at first glance but go so much deeper. From a simple ghost exorcism turns into a journey of self discovery and acceptance or a spirit trying to gain power turns into one learning how to feel emotions. The arcs and story itself are quite simple but in no way does that mean they are bad, in fact I would say that these are some of my favourite arcs in all of anime.
Finally the entertainment, obviously this is subjective but I absolutely loved this season. From the comedy aspect still being hilarious to the fights being so well animated it's mind blowing and even to the tension or suspense we feel for the characters. Everything in this season was so fun and enjoying to watch, I finished it in a single night.
In conclusion, I will 100% recommend this to you. There's not even a doubt in mind that this is something everyone needs to watch regardless of your age, gender, preferences, you will love this.
