Generic, boring, and horribly written. The worst parts of the film (and likely the most anticipated parts) was the fighting. The fight scenes were not only badly animated, but was also drab, slow, and extremely predictable. The fights were basically, guy hits guy really hard and gets small lore drop as to why they hit hard. Then, other guy hits guy really hard and gets small lore drop. Finally, both guys brainlessly hit each other non-stop until someone loses.
As independent anime, both the Baki and Kengan series do a fantastic job at creating engaging, fun fights that match their own style and storytelling. However,
