Endless Pursuit For Romance Anime That Could Melt My Heart ❤️

I am hypnotized by romance anime. The love and conflict between characters, along with the feelings of loss and rivalry, are my sources of gratification. Whenever I feel unsatisfied, I dig deeper into the original source by reading manga and playing visual novels. When I look back, I realize my list is already filled with romance stories from different genres, demographics and themes.

Hence, I am always looking for true love in anime - a truly authentic and reflective romance. Both shounen and shoujo romance suit my taste. My favorite romance anime are CLANNAD, Toradora!, and Fruits Basket, but if you check further, you will see that I adore classic romance anime. How many anime you could recognize below?

Hi! My favorite romance stories are Skip Beat, Gakuen Alice, Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne, and Kare Kano. :) What are yours? And of course, I loved the Kare Kano anime so much that I went straight to the manga!

Hi... I have so many to choose from. It depends on my mood. I could choose Shirayuki-hime, and Nina the Starry Bride (both are my favs). I also love the Fragrant Flower manga. It's really really good.

Yeah, I like Reflection Blue's a bit more also the episode ends really abruptly which was kind of funny. I'm holding out hope for a Reflection Blue anime, there's no way Shiki was just there for no reason.

Yes, sorry - got better than had to do some zoom meeting thing for a few weeks for government pay and then after that got a job so been doing training but no sickness or anything like that should happen so I'll join when you post another link (or when I check my MAL tomorrow)

Hii TMC, I just finished Kareshi Kanojo no Jijou. And I absolutely loved it! Definitely one of my favorite romance animes.

It's kinda sad that it just ended like that tho, I heard that the mangaka was disappointed at tha anime adaption,and the adapters Gainax had financial issues and all the shortcuts they took to save money. But the ending wasn't bad, just more could have happend.

But anyways I loved the anime in itself and Kare kano is definitely one of the best romance stories out there.

I agree, it's kinda sad that older Romance animes doesn't get the spotlight. And I really love the topics of identity and love in Kareshi Kanojo no Jijou. I'll be sure to update you once I'm done!

Yes! Until Now i absolutely love it! It feels diffrent and nice!
And also i checked some different anime classics and saw u had watched them, im thinking abt watching Kodocha and Marmelade boy which One do u recommend first watching? After Kareshi Kaojo no Jijou I think abt watching first a couple of other older animes, but I want to watch an 90s romance anime after that.
