At first, I didn't really appreciate the principal character, (I find that kind of character with that extroverted personnality too off sometimes compared to how extroverted people are in the real life, considering this is a story based and inspire by our real world.) but it gets better after a few episodes, and we discover a protagonist smarter than we could think off, and able to think, ask and listen the other characters and act in consequences, a good point that sometimes is missing in that kind of show.
Overall it was a pretty good anime who also have good songs, it was an important point
...
since the plot turn around music groups.
The main story is a bit already seen, but it was still great to watch, the side story are really cool, it almost make me shed a tear in the lasts episodes, haha.
So, it's not the anime of the time, but if you like that kind of little story with no fuss, I think you will like it!

Honestly watching this first season was a real ordeal, I mean the protagonist is awfully rude and stupid. Always shouting on the other like he is better and know more than them. For god sake just close your mouth and think a bit more please, I beg you. Maybe it's part of the anime, transcribe that this character is just a lost kid, if it is then great it works, but why is him the only one so stupid, doing nothing than just shouting ? I don't understand, I just want to hit him in the face, like wake up, stop beying so childish.
If I
...
keep watching this anime it's because I know a lot of people appreciate it, but with this first season I really don't understand why it is so hype.
Overall this awfull protagonist, for the moment the other character seams good, the first season is pretty slow to get in the subject, but still try it anyways, I think it might be worth it.

I discovered My Hero Academia years ago, when I was so much younger. At the time I was still in school, I was thirteen I guess, I don't remember well. I was often lonely at lunch and was passing the hours I have at the library in my school, when I was checking the manga area I always saw this yellow book with a muscular man looking like an American hero, and a young boy. And at that age I was already judging the cover book and the drawing, I was already passionate regarding of what I am doing now (background artist/2D rigger, 2D animator/director).
...
At this time I though why so yellow ? I didn't like the cover haha. I didn't understand (I think I still don't but I accept it).
Anyway, I took it and read it at the library and finaly, borrow it, since I didn't finished to read it. And when I was home a Wednesday, sitting in the couch, finishing this manga. I reach the end of the first volume, and saw "Boku no hero academia". Didn't understand why it was called like that, why not just "My hero academia". Curious and intrigued, I write on google "Boku no Hero Academia", and that's when I fall on youtube videos showing what I juste read, like a cartoon that could run at tv but better. I was shocked, so I watch the first episode on Youtube, I watched it many times, I wanted more. I searched it and found it, all the next episode, 2 seasons. That's how I discovered My Hero Academia, but even more that's how I discovered the worlds of anime.
So My Hero Academia since the starts and till the end have and will always have a special place in my heart. I will always be grateful to Kohei Horikoshi regarding his manga, and to Bones studio which always has made a great jobs regarding the animation of this manga. Thanks a lot. I'm a bit sad (crying while wrinting these words) to finaly reach the end of this story... But I really adore it since the starts and the part of a good story is to have an end.
Thanks you a lot Kohei, My Hero Academia, Izuku, you helped me a lot
