YES!! Aside from the highly anticipated sequels, my personal favorites this season are definitely Fate/Strange Fake, Sentenced to Be Hero, and You and I Are Polar Opposites. Those three really stand out from all the other new shows and even sit among the very best of the season, so yeah.

Episodes 1 and 2 of JJK just came out, what did you think of them?

Personally, the list is really long, but the ones I’m the most hyped for are JJK, Frieren, Hell’s Paradise, Oshi no Ko, Fire Force, and Fate/Strange Fake.

In general I am absolutely in love with Fujimotos writing. He has such a way to make you feel what he wants you to feel and it's amazing. And MAPPA as a studio was literally the perfect choice. I did not get when people complained about the first season of the anime. It already looked incredible. But hey, tbh sorry not sorry but Manga readers are the biggest babies ever. Is that just me noticing it XDDDD They get the most beautiful adaptation ever but hey "they forgot to animate chapter xyz where character y takes a poop. WORST ADAPTATION EVER!!!!! It's hilarious to me.

Been a bit stressful for me lately I’m not even going to lie to you. But to be fair, Christmas time and new year eve was truly special this year. Celebrating with family and with a nice and big dinner was fun. I also got some great gifts this year so I really can’t complain about that, I suppose.

YESSSSSS! I’m already a chainsaw man and a huge one at that, but oh my god. That movie was a religious experience from start to finish. I actually got to see it in Japan cause I was currently living there and I saw it super early. I saw it all the way back in September and it made it so much better. Truly a magical experience from start to finish. The music, the animation, the character design ( Reze is literally perfect) IT ALL WORKED. The ending had me sobbing. That movie was a love letter to every chainsaw man fan and I truly felt it. I’m so happy.

Oh, I see. Same for me, this season is going to be pretty packed, I’m planning to watch around 15 anime.
But with so many bangers coming out, it’s not surprising at all.

Yeah! Hell’s Paradise was one of the hidden gems of 2023, and I promise you the anime is incredible. It’s made by MAPPA (the same studio as JJK and Chainsaw Man), so you can already imagine the level. The character designs are AMAZING, I really love them, the animation is great of course, the opening is insane, and the story is faithful to the manga. So I can guarantee Hell’s Paradise will be a really good experience, especially if you’ve read the manga.

As for Fire Force, it’s the same thing. There are two absolute banger openings in it, the animation is solid, but what really stands out is the OST, especially the sound effects during the attacks. What impressed me the most in Fire Force is the story. They have one of the best plots I’ve ever seen, it’s complex without overdoing it, the reveals come at the perfect moments, and you never see them coming. The story is honestly amazing. So yeah, I definitely recommend it too.

Oh I see. As for me, there are so many lol, 2026 might end up being the best year for anime releases I've ever seen. To give you an idea, just for next winter, I'm really looking forward to JJK, Frieren, Fire Force, Oshi no Ko, and Hell's Paradise… and those are only the big names. There are also some hidden gems I'm excited to discover.
