This is a quick and short review about devilman..i had the urge to put it down as soon as i finished the series.
I watched the anime completely blind so didn t know anything about the manga or the 70' version or other things so i m going to give you an advice about THIS adaptation= it s a complete waste of time.
A lot of Free and unnecessary violence, too much that you feel disgusted, really, mindless empty characters, blood and gore everywhere.. that was the part that actually teased me to watch the series but since the high scores i was expecting something better ..
...
i was wrong .-.
I almost forgot the strongest point of the series.. IT S RUSHED AS HELL ..i mean..how can you watch a series that has a low pacing in like 7-8 episodes and the last two blow your mind and throw up everything in it.. well if you like this kind of anime then it s your thing.. if you' re seeking a good story with a good Writing and pacing then go away..this anime does NOT deserve such a high score.. im really disgusted..
The animation art is good but the fight scenes.. oh my god no..you won't understand anything of what is happening.. too dark and confusing ..low budget.. clear as the sky
One thing that instead i m really surprised is the sound, amazing and really fitting.. for the rest, well a complete mess! Do yourself a favour and don't watch this..

'The night is darkest just before the dawn. But keep your eyes open.
If you avert your eyes from the dark, you'll be blind to the rays of a new day. So keep your eyes open, no matter how dark the night ahead may be.'
Gintama has finally, or rather, unfortunately, rolled up the sleeves and laid the foundations for its final showdown. What our Gin-san doesn't know is that the night could be darker than he thought. All the unresolved questions, all the open wounds will be figured out in the second half of the season, leading us to an end which will completely satisfy
...
in a first moment, but looking back, we'll leave a huge gap wanting us for a new series to come out so badly, like a madao is looking for a job, the desperation will tie us in a indissoluble bond. So get ready for some dark sleepless nights. The hype is real and it will keep your eyes very open! However sooner or later, it should have happened, so it's better to not overthink it and put our Tama to rest. Obviously i mean souls! not OO ..ok, you didn't get it.
Getting more in details, the action won't be the absolute protagonist of the season, in fact it will make room, in its usual style, to a good slice of comedy which will make the series start off with a bang and keep the pace on till the last 2 arcs, but this is legit, it just want to gift us ..sigh.. its last lightheartedness's moments ..sigh.. ok i'm not crying.. really.. so get a full taste as long as you can.
The overall plot will be a real turning point, showing us a tons of glorious flashbacks joining all the puzzle's pieces on the troubled past of the legendary Joi team.
The result is a perfect blend of action, drama, emotion and wit which will make you die from laughing up to cry for sadness, in poor words, the perfect anime. I'm not surprised it's ranked #1 because even with great efforts you won't find any flaws. If you did, i throw you an anpan right in the face.
What truly make gintama to shine soo bright lies in its capacity (under all the jokes and crap) to teach us little life lessons touching the deepest part of ourselves. Each stand alone episode will satisfy more than a christmas lunch and this is a win-win for a series. The emotional osts bind up divinely to the moving moments and when the going gets tough the music is not lagging behind, exuding true Epicness in each battle theme. (Kabukicho 4 devas theme was memorable).
The animation on the whole is good and quickly develops every season. It's not on the same level as ufotable but this really doesn't matter because you will spend 3/4 of episodes with the tears in your eyes from laughing or you're too much focused on what's going on to pay attention.
The only complaint i could say for Gintama is the frequent use of kanji in the gags, but this is absolutely normal considering it's a japanese show, so the best compliment you can ever give to this anime is:
I wanted to be japanese just to understand better gintama!! :P
If you haven't seen this series and you're wondering why it's so popular, all i can say is, give it a try, seriously, it will worth every minute.
This anime and all its fantastic characters will show you how strong or weak people can be, how fragile or precious they are, you will discover the true meaning of Samurai.

(Spoiler free)
Shingeki no Kyojin or better well known as Attack on titans is a must-watch for all the action anime fans out there.
The story take places in a medieval post-apocalyptic world where mankind, or what is left, is forced to hide in 3 series of enormous concentric walls set on hierarchical scale. At the center is placed the king and all the high-profile people, the second includes the 3 military corps and medium-wealthy citizens and the last, but not least, is where the majority of population is located, composed by farmers and artisans. Each boundary wall stretches for a dozen of miles of land.
The reason
...
why humanity is on the edge of extinction is, like title suggests, the presence of man-eating titans. Like a zombie, the only purpose who pushes those giants to attack are exclusively the human race. In fact a giant could live forever without feeding, but as soon as they see a man they just devour him for pure pleasure. Why? That is the million-dollar question which it won't be revealed even at the end of the first series, while on the other hand, you'll find little hints about titans origins.
STORY 9/10
The story structure is very fluid and each episode contributes to the overall plot so there aren't any fillers. Although this is a 'Shounen' genre and the action is the starring role, it never falls on predictable and big plot holes, and this is a very nice thing considering all those rushed series that forces unlike events only because the story calls for it.
What it differs fundamentally from other fantasy anime lies in its Unique and Original story. More deeply, after few mins from the beginning you will get literally crushed in a brutal carnage. The first thing which strikes one is the appearance, followed by a dazzling lighting, of a colossal titan who stands above the 60 m walls. With just a kick he breaks through the majestic door allowing other minor titans to rampage the city. This is where the two protagonists Eren Jaeger and Mikasa Ackerman witness their mother's head rip off by a titan and the slaughter of almost all village people, gifting us one of the MOST INTENSE epic scenes i've ever seen. From all the blood shed in battle the red string of fate ends up binding to Eren, still unaware of the fact he has the key to save the world. With the burning fire on his eyes and a crazy note in his voice, he swears for vengeance and ~actual words~Killl Them All. (Omg Moment)
ART 10/10
The animation is Outstanding and you can see miles away the studio put a lot of efforts in it. The quality remains the same from the start up to the last scene, so don't worry about that, it won't undergoes any change during the episodes as so often happens in many anime. The characters designs are stunning and seem like underlined with a black pen and even the setting is well-finished in all aspects.
What it won't certainly pass unnoticed is the three dimensional maneuver gear, a sort of equipment which allows great mobility to fight in a 3D space when facing the titans in combat. This device will grant you spectacular and breathtaking scenes, so get ready for some epic acrobatics feats.
Whilst animation does his duty very well, the art on the whole doesn't goof on ridicoulus or childish situations, that's why i think 'Seinen' should be more suitable for this anime.
The air you breath is filled with despair and the emotional state of each character succeeds on getting empathize in their situations. The personalities are truly fitting and the reason that makes humanity to fight is very motivating, like a war to survive, you fight or you die.
SOUND over 9000/10
Brace yourselves, Epic Osts are coming.
Without any doubts the stronger point of the series, correction : of All the anime series. Seriously talking, the osts are so damned epics that you will get stuck in a loop without no chance to escape [Play-repeat..] [Play-repeat...] thus, once you get infected the only remedy is time, you know, time heals all wounds so i would advise you to make your peace with this. The pacing and songs suits up perfectly and make you sweating for excitement up to grieving from sadness, so get ready and make some room in your playlist. It will worth every byte.Nothing to say more, no, really , just go and download every track!! and spread the infection.
Characters's voices are also great so if you are going to watch this series, do it in its original language, got it? Janepese voices make it better, i could say for experience since i watched the anime in japan sub ita the first time and then in my language. Result: it ruined the viewing.
Eren's voice in berserk mode is very devastating..
Why are you still here? The tracks!!Gogogo.
CHARACTER 9/10
Attack on titans has one of the largest character's arsenal ever seen: Tsundere girls, crazy yanderes ,dandere, big breasted women and cute lovely loli... Nah, just kidding. Fortunately for us, this alternative mediaval world doesn't allow this odd creatures to come in, also because the part of the monster has already been given to the titans, so stereotypes characters, i'm sorry but you won't steal again the show. However, aot's world is a tough place to live. Being weak means you will be short-lived, thus, having a strong personality is the minimun requirement. Every character has its own pre-set nature, some will have a growth during the series, but despite this, they are unpredictable or just damned stupid, in poor words, they are Real, acting like a human. There aren't any fanservice or embarassing moments for the viewer---> 'sigh of relief'
To avoid some serious spoilers i won't describe any of the characters, however, i assure you will love each one of them, and more than anyone else the stronger badass soldier of all mankind, Levi Ackerman. The studio has released 2 ovas about his past and the fact that 2 episodes are ranked 8,5 speaks for itself.
OVERALL 10/10
Since many people tend to skip all the review and just looking at the overall thoughts, (i do too) i saved you some things.
Shingeki no Kyojin brought a full breath of fresh air in the anime world and it was right this series which made me get close to it. I didn't even know the existence of some masterpieces until a couple of months ago and i watched it for just pure chance.. ~manna from heaven~
This anime has seriously the power to break the mental chains to all those closed-minds who still think anime are just childish cartoons. Take it from someone who's been one!! From a more mature point of view, Aot has nothing to envy to the most popular american series like Games of Thrones or ...(ok now i'm shooting in my foot) but regarding the enjoyment, they are almost on the same level IMO.
It is a matter of mentality and fame. The latter can spring curiosity, and from curiosity you can gradually open the mind to see Japanese animation in a different and positive light, but this is still an utopian dream.
However, put that aside, if you think action is the only protagonist of the series you're wrong, because a good slice of story is cut by dialogues and very well done flashbacks. This anime is so detailed and doesn't present any imperfections, so if you're trying to look for a needle in a haystack, i'm sorry, but you won't find it. The atmosphere makes you feel involved in every character situations, and you can feel the danger gets under your skin in all the fight against the titans.
The first episode is stellar, one of the best start, seriously, after the first peaceful moments letting the viewer to acclimatize and introduce the story, an abrupt change breaks the quietness and the plot quickly gets off the ground leaving us with a big question that still bother me and all the non-manga-readers: Who are those special titans appeared out of nowhere and Why did they break the walls??! Maybe the giants are not the only threat for mankind...cough...cough. By the way, i hope the mistery behind the titans will be revealed in the second upcoming season so what are you waiting for? In this anime you will discover the pure meaning of epicness, bravery, courage sacrifice that will touch your heart deeply, you can't miss it, oh and don t forget about the tracks! ;)

THIS REVIEW CONTAINS SPOILERS but warning: this anime is too damn predictable you can just don t worry about that ;)
I had great expectations from this anime since i saw an Amv from youtube and i was stunned by its graphic so let s start off.
Watching this anime is like climbing a stair, each step an episode so you start with the first, 2 3 4 and it s ok then you start falling down without realizing it and the reason behind that is the presence of Big plot holes.Maybe i m just too obsessed by details but as a serious anime viewer i can't tolerate
...
some kind of things ...cause the more accurate the details are and the more you can enjoy a tv series and distinguish the real masterpieces. That said i ll show you what i mean for 'details'.For example, in one of the first scene the 2 main characters jump with their horses from a bridge up to the roof of some houses.. (I guess 40 m high)and keep their racing like nothing happened..Just Wow i didn t know horses were so hardy, but they would be dead in real life lol..these are the things wich bother me considerably but since it was just the first mins i let it pass so 3 eps moved almost perfectly and then a huge s**tstorm covered me unexpectedly.
Why? From what has started with a normal and pleasant series the anime quickly transform into a supermega trash wich can make envy the unfamous Sharknado.i m not kidding let me explain..
'Predictable' become the key-word of every episode but in a way so Heavy that you want almost drop this series or finish it as fast as you can..the battle with Blackbeard who patiently wait for the Mc rises instead of instant-shooting and kill him or the kraken (which was headshotted by the demon girl) wich magically appears in the exactly moment when the captain was falling into the sea .-. Some directorial choices are just appalling.
This anime also presents one of the most ILLOGICAL scene that i ve ever seen in my entire life.. At the end the antagonist Belzebub succeed his evil plan and summon the invincible Bahamut for (guess what?) rule the world. (np with that, it s just the villain complex)He orders the dragon to defeat all the gods he s fighting, so he charges his hyperbeam and ... (Moment of silence)incenerate Belzebub...... ....... .......*Guffaw* Lool You don t say???It was f***ing predictable omg.. He has the power to destroy the world.WTF were you thinking when you realized your plan? Are you an idiot? It s been thousand of ages bahamut is trying to destroy everything and only with the desperate help of all the Earth creatures (god, demons, angels, humanity) they could just sealed untill that moment.. Try to tame it was the WORST idea that a villain could ever think...
By the way at the end the Bahamut explodes with the power of an atomic bomb and the main character Favaro, who was up to his eye he gets along with only a leg less.HOW? Holy **** Don t try to say he was a demon because it s been said many times that his demon tail was only a curse but for the rest he was a human so speechless..
Btw I will not describe every single bulls**t i saw or my review will become too long so let s get this over.
If i could describe this anime in poor words i d say "all smoke and no fire"so dear Bahamut, u made a s**t figure lol.If you are not looking into a big story or not expect too much from a series then you will enjoy it..my score is just a gift for the art and animation wich you can see miles away they put a lot of efforts in it.

This is just a quick review about log horizon. Where should i start? First of all, i could say this is one of the most boring and illogical anime i' ve seen and i dropped it at just 11 ep cause i couldn t no longer resist..Why? Don' t get fooled by that "action-adventure" like me..because it's just a SLOW SLOW slice of life fantasy full of political and diplomatic situations, oh and guess what?stereotypes characters.
The worst thing i just can't handle is the hate for the "similar" SAO wich is ten times better. No seriously.. if you're thinking this ugly copy is better there is
...
something wrong with you.. I can understand for the spells, classes and the whole Rpg sistem etc but stop.. the rest are just boring useless speechs who make you slee.. Zzzz
There will be many confronts with Sao in this review since many people recommend it for its similar settings but They are Two completely different things,Sao is a love story so deal with it.
By the way, i will just write what i criticize the most and the reason why it is a very bad anime.
Let's start from the beginning.. You got stuck in a RPG game with no chance to escape and what s your first reaction? Fear? Anxiety? Nahh let s take a walk and call my old friend..(few moments later, when they met) "oh man so you're stuck in the game too.." "Yea, woo i ve always thought you were a tall man!" "Hoho that s exactly how i imagined you..look at you, with those glasses" Mm..And while you are at it, order two coffee please oh my god, this is one of the first conversations. Thus the question arises: wtf is happening? .I want you to remind the first ep of Sao.. the air was full of terror.. You just got trapped in a game and you can t log out!!! the first days in Sao many people died or committed suicide cause they cannot manage to being trapped in a game! ..Even after lot of episodes in Log horizon people still don't care and live quietly.. ehm.. The real world? your family?don t you miss them? Sao s players started to fell "adapted" after a year or so when they partially left hopes for coming back in the real world. This is like a crucio that keeps knocking in your head and make this anime too illogical for a watch. Its pacing is also terrible and sets up many useless minor plots to the whole thing.
Then, the characters, the weakest point of LH: the Mc, called the demonic four-eyed, a lv 90 magycian who uses only 1 spell for the few battles he fought (and he s lv 90 so a little more fantasy lol)..a ninja lolita who serve the mc like a master, wow what a news,a perverted big man who get kicked by the lolita every time he tries to joke, the leaders of the crescent moon, an hugger woman who hugs Everybody for no reason and the irrealistic business woman in the real world (bookkeeper i guess) that has a lv 90 Rpg player and spend all tje time trying to use the lolita like a doll..but ehi .. It s an anime so no problem,it s ok, should i continue? let s pass over, it s better..
The most important, the death sistem. You can't die in the game.. Nope seriously? You just cut off the only thing that could have added some tension to this series. This fit up perfectly in Sao and that s why i absolutely loved the first 12 eps of it.The tension was constant and you didn t know what would have happened.
One last thing, i read that after 50 eps so the end of the second season there are still no answers on WHAT and WHY they re there, which would have been the most important thing to explain, so no answers after 20 hours of watching lol.
