-- I like romcoms and 8 meter waifus --
I know my scores are pretty bloated right now. I'll update them as I read more manga.
I've found the most important thing for me in stories to be the characters specifically, with all their design choices and quirks. Because of this, I don't particularly mind if the overarching plot is weak or cliche, as long as there IS some kind plot development.
Indeed, my most enjoyed part of manga is the way the characters interact with each other. That's it. And that's also why I like Kaguya-Sama so much, for example. I'd say it describes my taste (well, one side of it atleast,) perfectly in the sense that there is a very familiar and fun set of characters put in all sorts of scenarios where their quirky personalities come to light in a wholesome rom-com environment. It was a delight to follow Miyuki and Kaguya's journey from witty battles of the mind all the way to confession. And lets not forget Ishigami and all the other character's arcs either. What a great manga.
p.s. why is there so much peak on the Dragon Age magazine? I recently found out about the whole magazine section thing, and it seems like such a useful place for similar recommendations. definitely will be using it more in the future.
Also my profile page is very much a work in progress, as I only started to really use this website around November this year (2025) so apologies for the mess. But if you find your taste to be similar to mine feel free to add me as a friend, I'm kinda lonely when it comes to the type of manga that I like LOL.
