TL:DR - Watch this.

The shows nowadays are littered with males who have so little testosterone that watching them interact with girls is actually akin to watching a yuri scene. The shows themselves are dull and insipid because they focus on the most average person in the room. Older shows like Death Note, FMA, GITS are so iconic mainly because none of the characters are whiny pricks. They each had a vision with believable flaws and limitations and they fought tooth and nail to bring their vision to life.

Nowadays its just a deluge of shows with utterly average people who do not have a ... single interesting facet in their personality. From Re:zero's Subaru to BNHA's Izuku, everyone is a spineless, gutless, piece of shit protagonist suffering from serious, chronic deprivation of testosterone but they suddenly become awesome and powerful coz reasons.

If you are like me and you miss the brilliance of past characters like the Yagami Light's, the Edward Elric's and even to a certain extent the Kurosaki Ichigo's then my friend, you might love One outs.

Here is a character who doesn't coast through life by being average and doesn't play sports to enjoy. The main character Tokuchi Toua, plays to win.. WIN.. BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY. If that means humiliating the opponent and breaking him down bit-by-bit, then so be it. No philosophical ramblings, no hesitation, no doubts. WIN.. At all costs. A man with a vision, and willing to do ANYTHING to achieve what he wants. Here is a deeply flawed character with believable limitations, who overcomes his opponents using sheer will and keen observation and quick wits. Stoicism is celebrated here, as it should be. Other shows have characters scream and cry and become awesome. Here its the traits of quiet deliberation, long term planning, calmly responding to situations which are celebrated. Awesome doesnt happen overnight, its not something that is inherited, its EARNED. By analysis, by predictions, by planning. Things that almost no other anime celebrates.

Comically almost every other aspect of the show apart from Tokuchi is utterly useless. Side characters mostly have less charm than cardboard cutouts, the music is serviceable, the animation average. But when the main character is this good and when some of the foes he faces are almost as formidable as him, nothing else matters. A great binge-worthy, fun to watch anime.

Tl: dr - Watching paint dry the anime. But seriously the paint patterns are mesmerizing.

The first episode show the two main characters standing next to each other, both blushing furiously and looking away from each other while an awkward silence stretches on between them. I bet you are thinking "Aww.. cute" at this point. Burn this image onto your heads because this is the only time you will see something like this... who am I kidding.. You see the same visual each and every episode. The backgrounds, the music and the clothes they wear changes but the single constant in the anime is a ... visual of Kotarou and Azumi both blushing and decidedly watching somewhere else rather than each other.

I will agree, the first 3 times I saw it, I thought it was cute.. Buut when the same thing happens for the 500th time (the number is made up BTW) that warm fuzzy feeling I had inside me was replaced by a burning rage that just wanted to should out "GET THE FUCKING SHOW STARTED ALREADY"

But hey, you know what, its still quite enjoyable, mainly coz there is some growth, painfully slow yea, but its there and the story is delightfully free of unwanted drama and chaos. Story is short, its simple and it doesn't try to complicate shit. No childhood friends, no bitchy rich snob who suddenly falls in love with the protag, no happy go lucky person who just suddenly shows up.. .none of that bullshit. That has to garner it some positive points IMO. Oh and the 5 mins shorts after the show are hilarious. I have had more fun watching those than the full episode but I digress.

The music is meh.. as in it exists and thats it.. but they use some j-pop songs during some scenes which actually sounds good. So its good I guess. The artstyle is kinda wierd.. the characters have a strong white outline on them, so they kinda look out of place and the crowd is CGI with wooden animations (prolly running on cinematic 30 fps) but hey it doesn't detract from the experience and the backgrounds are good.

All in all.. good enough to keep me coming back (though I am more interested in the Miu and Inaba side story tbh) So.. worth a watch I would wager.

Hiya all.. How was your school life? As a 29 year old guy, I must say I had a lot of fun in my school years. If anime like Koe no Katachi and Aku no hana are to be believed, then I am glad I didn't grow up in a Japanese school. Man they seem like hell.

And this is my problem with Koe to Katachi. These are high school students, and they are talking about mad shit like belonging and purpose.. I mean, I am 29 years old and I havent thought about those topics. All I did in school was have crazy discussions ... on which girl ranked better and if lotr or harry potter was better. I even remember loving the prequel star wars films (don't judge me, I was young) Koe no Katachi is too serious for its own good.. I cannot count the number of times I paused the film to exclaim, these are high school students? And the sister.. she's in elementary? I mean they act like depressed 40 year olds.

Ishida is as unlikeable as any protag I have seen. No positive attributes at all. Crappy hairstyle - check, lanky body which hasn't seen a single day of use - check (seriously do you even lift bro?) socially awkward - check, generally a dick - check.

The other main character, Shouko, btw is not just deaf but is borderline dumb. I swear her IQ is in single digits. She meets Ishida, a cunt, who spent his entire childhood making her life hell and decided she likes him, coz reasons? She then decides to kill herself, coz reasons, setting up for a grand rescue and emotional scene where Ishida saves her. Her mom is pretty much a dick throughout. I seem to have liked the manga bit better.. maybe it explained shit better than this or I was high at the time. Either one.

The other characters are equally meh. We have Mineta from Boku no hero making a cameo as Ishida's BFF. Why does he like Ishida.. coz reasons (yea I know it was his bicycle jeez) the others - didn't really care. There was a girl who literally and figuratively runs away or something like that. Only thing I remember about her is that she had some freckles. There was a blonde who was a cunt and a black haired ex who was a bitch. There was one other guy who kinda just existed. The blonde liked him and we were supposed to care for his existence too I guess.

Ultimately the story is about redemption, how even someone like Ishida can be redeemed and find his place in this world and blah, blah, blah...

Dunno man, I kinda like my anime to be a bit cheerful and Koe no Katachi has none of it. Its 2 hrs of boredom narrated through the lens of a drab, boring, dull and borderline suicidal boy. Maybe thats the point of it. Maybe I am not the audience for who this movie is meant for..

Meh.. I will re-watch some Kill la kill now to get a fix. Much more fun than this.

Tl:DR review: Still a better vampire story then Twilight.

Shiki tried hard to present a sort of a grey world where there was no clear cut good and bad and both sides were justified in their actions. Well it tried.. But it failed terribly.

From the opening to the almost 18 episodes, all the vampires are shown to be these cold, calculating killers who are methodically exterminating an entire town and all of a sudden after episode 18, the show asks us to feel bad for them. Why? Because humanity decided to fight back. Yeah thats it. The show is peppered with pointless philosophy which ... is prattled on by a fucking retarded no-balls priest. This shitty priest is so addled with the retarded philosophy he spouts that he goes on about how humans shouldn't judge the actions of vampires when there are people dying by the dozens day by day. Great job priest. To add to this irony, this fucker decides that joining the vampires makes the most sense because "no one understands him like Sunako" Dude was probably just a closeted lolicon.

Lets not even get started on the Vampires. They waltz into the town and systematically start wiping out the populace and yet somehow they are tragic, misunderstood creatures. Yeah right. Seems pretty black and white to me. Oh and the hierarchy makes absolutely no sense. Why in the blue hell is Sunako the leader when she is neither wise nor good at fighting? By all accounts she is utterly average. But muh loli vampire mascot.

The show does nothing to make the vampires relatable. Megumi was a spoilt, self-entitled teen who remained the same albiet more psychotic post death, Tohru was a somewhat likeable guy who becomes a wailing cry baby post death, Nao was a loving mother and wife who systematically kills her son, husband and in-laws post death and Masao was cowardly dick pre and post death. Why the fuck should I care for any of them? Ohh bu-bu-but humans will killed them.. good fucking riddance.

The show is saved from being an utter trainwreck by a decently characterized town doctor Ozaki who seems to be the only one who actually acts like a normal person would and its easy to get behind him. The human side is generally relatable. A close knit village decides to resort to violence when faced with the threat of extermination. I can not only relate, I also wholeheartedly support their actions. They didn't start the fight, they didn't kill anyone. They lived their lives peacefully until vampires came in and forced them to fight. Bu-bu-but they are violent. Well you should thought about that before killing half the village shouldn't you.

Character models is alright. A number of them sport outrageous hairstyles that defy the very laws of gravity and physics. There is nothing to write about in terms of animation. Its serviceable. The music in parts is surprisingly good.

In spite of all its shortcomings, I founds myself wanting to watch more and finish the show. The story is deeply flawed but in spite of it, dare I say enjoyable. The last few episodes are essentially a gore fest where they try so hard to portray the humans as bloodthirsty, violent creatures where in fact they are simply fighting for their existence. Overall a good decent watch.

This is a very long review. Thoughts and opinions are my own. TL/DR review, the anime is shit. Watch something else instead of wasting your time with this. Long review follows.

I didn't like Re:Zero. Why? Because its not realistic. What do I mean by realistic? Well, I am not referring to the fantastical elements in the story or the setting. Let me elaborate.
A fantastical setting cannot be an excuse for bad writing. What I mean is that a fantasy setting can be used to inspire the creativity of the viewer or to tweak the rules of the world to favor a person/faction. This is ... used usually to make evil more threatening and make the hero an underdog. However almost all fantasy works so far are grounded in reality. This reality is usually the emotions that the characters go through. While physics, chemistry, biology or geography of the world doesn't rely on reality but rather a made up series of rules, the characters themselves almost always react the way you would expect a normal, average human being to react. Frodo was relatable because he reacted the way you would expect an average kid of his age to react when given with the overwhelming task he was given. For instance, him deciding to quit the fellowship and try to conduct the rest of his journey alone can be harkened back to his fear and paranoia which was contributed by a mixture of both the power of the ring and the actions of Boromir where he tried to forcibly take the ring from Frodo.

This fundamental aspect of how characters behave is completely ignored in Re:Zero. I would have enjoyed Re:zero if the characters behaved with even a small semblance of realism. I do not mind that it uses a rather tired trope of a MMO-like fantasy world where the protagonist inexplicably finds himself in. My problem lies in mostly how the characters behave as far too often they belie basic common sense. I would have excused this if this was an one-off thing but there are far too many offenders to really ignore it.

The main offender of this are the two main characters of Emilia and Subaru. First let us take the setting of the anime. The first episode establishes a couple of things. First, the main character is a loner who really hasn't mixed with people. Secondly he gets transported inexplicably to a parallel world. There are a few more things which are established in this first episode but we will come to that in a bit. Subaru is introduced to us as a neet. So the first thing I would expect from his is uncertainty, paranoia, uneasiness around other people. From the first few minutes each of this is thrown out the window. Instead what we get is a guy who is willing to fight street thugs head on, strikes up a conversation with a hot girl, interacts normally with a shopkeeper and even consoles a distraught child. What really was the point of introducing him as a hikkikomori when he really has no characteristics of one? Well if this was the only thing which made no sense then I would have enjoyed my time with Re:Zero. Sadly however this is just the beginning of illogical freedom taken by the story writers.

At the end of the first episode three more things are established. One the character of Emilia who is shown as a noble if somewhat gullible mage. Two that Subaru wants to help her and three, at the very end of the episode, that everytime Subaru dies, he spawns back at the beginning so he can relive the events again. So far so good right? Well again, lets take the hikkikomori thing out of the equation because it really has zero influence on the narrative. Lets look at things rationally. Let us consider an average person with an average IQ gets stuck in a world similar to the opening of the anime. Logically, feeling of despair, frustration and anger should be forefront. A sudden change like that would force the mind into overdrive and force a survival instinct to kick in. In other words, you adrenaline would be pumping and you would be concerned first and foremost for your own safety. Such a person wouldn't really be bothered by a girl you barely know lost her insignia. Questions like where you are, what you need to do to get back to your world and how you came to be there in the first place will be first and foremost on your head. But let us assume that Subaru was struck by love at first sight and wanted to be by Emilia so we can ignore this. Let us proceed to when he was killed. He is walking in a strange land with a strange girl next to him in a desolate, rundown poor district after sunset looking for a thief and his plan is to go inside first so he can see if everything is fine. Unpredictably he gets killed. I mean what was he expecting. Ok so now he respawns. Logically, he should just run as far away as possible. Instead he repeats the same thing again with varying success. Whatever, at the end of the first episode, the logical fallacies are way too much to really ignore.

Given the length of the writeup already, I will stop here but I want to highlight two events which occur early on. These are when Subaru is granted to ask of anything from Emilia and again when he is granted to ask of anything of Roswaal. Lets get erotic things out of the way and think logically here. Emilia appears to have knowledge of magic systems and is shown to be capable in combat. What would an average person ask of her? Not her name like Mr. Subaru did. Secondly, Roswaal appears to be extremely well off and has important connections in the strange world. What would an average person ask of him? Not to clean his dishes and wash his clothes like Mr. Subaru does. The anime tries to make a crappy joke about this by saying Subaru is simply not ambitious. But the fact of the matter is that none of Subaru's actions make sense within the setting provided.

This is my problem with this anime. Nothing makes thematic sense. The characters do not act in a realistic manner for the situations they are put in. The characters behave like they are in a shoujo manga fretting over tiny things when the world appears to be more like a Game of thrones setting with blood and gore to back it up. It creates a jarring representation. Why should I as the viewer care of the travails of Subaru when he himself is more interested in Emilia even when his life is at stake.

Moving to the other aspects of the anime, the visuals are good. I particularly liked the backgrounds of the cityscape. The animation is just average and battle sequences are thoroughly averagely animated. This is offset by excessive violence and gore which really has no place here. Coming to the music, I just finished Kabaneri so I am a bit biased. Kabaneri was a terrible show where the music elevated the product from terrible to average. Here the music is as insipid as the storytelling and does nothing to enhance the story.

Seeing the hype around this anime, I really wanted to give this a try. I was utterly disappointed. If you enjoyed the show, well good for you. For me however, 12 episodes was all I could take.

I really want to consider this as two separate animes aptly title before Biba and after Biba. Lets gets the cat out of the bag, the anime is dog shit but its mainly because of one character called Biba who really had no place in this anime.

The first 6 episodes can be considered before Biba and it delivers solid popcorn flick fun. It aint gonna knock your socks off with deeply multi-faceted characters and an astounding story but it delivers solid action with amazing set-pieces and slick over the top animation. Logic is never a strong point of the series and there is a ... lot of ass pull but hey its fun to see. The main focus of the story at this point is survival against an overwhelming enemy and humanity's ability to adapt and survive.

The final 6 episodes are sadly shit. This the after Biba arc and seriously.. just.. FUCK BIBA. The focus moves from Survival to routing revenge, cartoony bad guy trope.What little logic was there in the first few episodes is thrown just to add some flash to the animation. Suddenly its no longer teh zombies who are the threat but the humans themselves. All this understandably culminates in a final battle where unsurprisingly the bad guy dies but *gasp* he was really a good guy inside. Ass pull after ass pull.

Coming to the animation, it is solid and extremely well done. Amazing visuals really sell the devastation and generally the battle scenes are very, very smooth. I feel the earlier episodes did the animation slightly better especially scenes with Mumei zipping around killing the zombies. Later half though, the animation takes a hit. FUCK BIBA, he ruined the animation too.

Music is straight up awesome. After watching the first episode, I decided to buy the OST. Thats how good its. You want some music in the backgroud to pump you up while you pwn some noobs while playing this is it. The main song called Kabaneri of the Iron fortress is especially amazing. The female vocals swell in the background and gets me super pumped up. Whether you watch the anime or not, listen to this awesome, awesome song.

Overall:
Episodes 1-3: Before Biba, pretty much awesome.
Episodes 4-6: Before Biba - cheesy scenes (Ayame cuting her hand on the top of the train and feeding Ikoma lol) and downright stupid ones (we have no food but we will enjoy firecrackers suure) but still bearable.
Episodes 7-12: FUCK BIBA.

I love movies like Transformers. I do not expect to be mind blown but entertained. Kabaneri is like the Transformers of anime. Check out your brain and try to not think too much and its a very enjoyable watch. It would have been better if there was no Biba. FUCK BIBA.

Around episode 4, a group of "elite" soldiers are selected to kill an enemy alien. The most epically "elite" of them all dies like a scrub when he rushes like a noob in front of the attacking enemy coz he wanted to die an hero in front of his gf. His gf also an "elite" goes mad with rage and rushes into the jaws of the alien to die. While this is happening the remain two "elites" twiddle their thumbs and give running commentary on what happening while the alien eats them both. "Elite soldiers aka Humanity's last hope" ladies and gentlemen.

A single episode later, ... the younger sister of one of these "elites" decides forming a harem with her, another chick, a hermaphrodite and the main character is more important than doing something human like, I dunno, maybe grieve for her "elite" brother but whatever. No wonder humanity is dying.

Nothing makes thematic sense in this anime. We are told humanity is under threat and we are supposed to give a fuck, though the characters themselves are more interested in a harem then in survival. Characters are build as "elite" soldiers for 4 episodes and when they fight, they do worse than a ten year olds first day at military camp.

No tension, no thematic progression.The whole theme of the story is how the main character falls in love with a hermaphrodite from his harem. If you like that sort of thing then maybe this is for you. If you want a sci-fi story with logical progression and characters who react realistically to outside events look elsewhere.

TL:DR review:
For all intents and purposes, Cross game can be seen as an alternate world retelling of Anohana. In this world, instead of slice-of-life we have baseball as the focus of the show and instead of angst ridden characters of Anohana you have more grounded, well rounded characters deal with the same themes of loss, lonliness and identifying one'e self worth. Watch if you like slice of life. As a sports anime it works, but its mostly about the characters and less about the sport itself.

Full review:
I liked Anohana for what it was, a story of loss and coming to terms with missing ... your first love. However I was almost turned off by the ludicrous characters on display. Cross Game does it miles better as its characters arent prone to self-pity nor do they burden themselves with needless regret just to add drama. The characters for the most part simply move on as most people would do in such ciscumstances.

The plot of Cross Game in 5 mins is essentially lead character Ko and neighbor Wakaba both of whom were born on the same day like each other a lot. This causes a lot of anger on the part of Wakaba's younger sister Aoba. A tragic accident causes the death of Wakaba and the anime deals with how Kou moves on with his life while still interacting with the rest of Wakaba's family namely her 3 sisters, Aoba, Momiji and Ichiyo. The characters all are fairly realistic in that they still miss Wakaba but dont wallow in self-pity but rather choose to look towards the future. Along the side there is baseball which is a big passion in Aoba's life. Why Ko decides to take up baseball as a sport and how his relationship with Aoba progresses forms the crux of the story. Make no mistake about it, Cross Game has elements of baseball in it and it has tropes used in other similar sports anime, however the focus here is on the relationship between Ko and Aoba and the other characters from the baseball team. The baseball story is more of a side arc rather than the major focus.


I love the characters of Cross Game for the most part. The one character I didnt like was Wakaba. She is potrayed as this perfect girl who is loved by all the boys and idolized by everyone. Noone had beef with her, she was universally loved... essentially the same garbage we were fed about Menma in Anohana. The difference is that in Anohana, Menma returned as a retarded ghost whereas here Wakaba stays thankfully dead for most part of the anime. I say most part because Wakana returns towards the later part of the series as clone-trooper 6191 AKA Akane. Apparently another girl who just happens to look exactly like Wakaba with the exact same character traits like Wakaba just happens to move next door to Ko and Aoba. I will let the mathematicians in the house calculate the odds of that happening. This clone-trooper also gets her own "Your lie in April" arc at the very end to add some needless drama. Wew lads.

Thankfully the rest of the cast for the most part are fun. Ko is very grounded for a sport anime protagonist. He isnt a whiny, loud-mouthed, never give up, thug-life guy with massive hidden potential (looking at you Shoyo Hina-fart!!) He didnt start playing baseball to become the best in the world but rather for reasons much closer to home. He plays baseball simply to fulfill a dream Wakaba had. Even towards the end, he wants to be the best pitcher in the world not because he wants to be the best but its the only way he knows to get closer to Aoba. Aoba is another star in the show. Classic tsundere type, fighitng desparately to be part of the dream Wakaba had all the while hurting inside coz she knows she would never be part of a boys baseball team. She loves baseball but she wants so badly to part of the Wakaba's dream that she puts her baseball dreams on hold so she could atleast cheer on Ko from the sidelines. Great character growth throught and the banter between Ko and Aoba is generally of a very good quality. Some of the side characters themselves are very well rounded with a good example being Akaishi. Another guy who had a silent crush on Wakaba, reforms himself from being a bully to become a catcher so he can help make Wakaba's dream a reality.


The visuals are good. The character desings are a bit umm.. You take Ko, Aoba and Wakaba/Akane and shave them all bald, they all have the same face. The backgrounds are serviceable. The animation however is very good. The music is entirely forgettable. It does its job of staying in the background. Not a single track was actually memorable.


Conclution:
Cross game is easy waching. Its not a bad thing. There are no complex multi layered characters. The biggest takeaway is the undeniable feelings of positivty one gets from watching this. Anohana was mostly negative with a positive ending. Here the tone of the anime is by and large positive and the life potrayed here is charming and brimming with childlike innocence. The message is of hope, to cherish the memories of those you lost but to move on and not be held back by your loss. Lovely anime, not the most original story and some characters and the drama they bring (aka Akane) was uneeded but overall great.

TL DR review: Solid all around romance movie. Not Shinkai's best but comes a close second. A Must watch.

Section wise review:
... Story:
Its a Shinkai film, meaning there will be a love story with a twist. 5cm/second had themes of love and effect distance can have over it. Garden of words had love between a student and his teacher while in Place promised, childhood friends took different paths as time progressed but were drawn back by a promise made during their early years.

Here we have a love story which starts off with body swapping but eventually becomes across different time periods. Its told in a sort of a non-linear way. The closest film I can think of with a similar plot is the Sandra Bullock starring Premonition.

Art:
It's a Shinkai film. That really should be certificate enough. The scenes are dripping with detail. Shinkai has a knack of taking everyday, normal stuff and making them seem magical. A simple train ride can be made to appear to be out of a fantasy setting and here it is no different. There is a section in the story called "Kuchikamizake Trip" which is hauntingly beautiful. Like "making of cyborg"/parade scene in GITS/Innocence or the classroom destruction scene from Aku no hana, the scene stays with you long after you have seen the film.

Sound:
The music was an eye-opener. Music in other Shinkai's works hadnt really impressed me and I always thought of it as a weak link. No more, the songs here are truly breathtaking. Some of these songs, I will add to my playlist. My fav songs are Kuchikamizake Trip and Kataware Doki.

Character:
Here is where I feel the movie could have slightly been improved. Bear in mind that these are mostly nitpicks on my side. I feel Mitsuha got a better character arc than Taki. Taki was just some guy in Tokyo who had a crush on his sempai from work. His family status, his friends and other details about him were generally left open for interpretation. Mitsuha got a good character arc but towards the ending the entire confrontation with her father curiosly occurred off-screen. We were just told that Mitsuha's father finally believed her and got the villagers to safety. Kind of a cop-out IMO. It wasnt organic.

Enjoyment:
Nothing to complain here. Strangely I even liked the usually jarring j-pop songs Shinkai uses in his films.

Overall:
It doesnt approach the greatness of subtle storytelling that 5cm/second employed but in terms of Shinkai's works, it is a very, very close second.

Relife gives us a hikkikomori as the lead and has him take a pill which makes him live one year as a 17 year old. The starting episodes of the anime (episodes 1-6) are a real blast and there are a lot of literal laugh out loud moments as the main character Arata tries to fit into he new surroundings. The reason the first few episodes are such a blast is because there is no story progression in those episodes. The story in this anime is atrocious and the message given out is even worse.

Lets start from the beginning. If you had the chance to ... relive a year as a 17 year old, what would you do? Well if Relife is anything to go by, the best way to be "born again" and "heal" is by becoming a mangina "Yes man" and take all the crappy problems of your peers upon ourselves. Coz you know, nothing makes you a better person like sorting through teen angst and drama. Instead of really introspecting his life and growing as a person, Arata decides to help his classmates deal with banal, crappy everyday problems. He being a 27 year old in reality should mean he should be able to deal with problems no? Nope. He sucks. Now lets go to the romantic foil for Arata, Chizuru Hishiro. Good lord, can you have a more bland and boring character than this? She is essentially Sadako V2 (from Kimi no Todoke) with all the good qualities stripped out. Anything which made Sadako tragic and made you sympathize with her is removed and replaced with a banal "I don't know how the world works, but I work real hard" It boggles my mind how someone be he 17 years old, 27 years old, or even 60 years old can fall in love with someone who has zero and I mean zero character. The rest of the characters are what you would expect in similar anime. You have a handsome friendly guy, a tsundere, a dumb airheaded girl with big tits who is in a threesome with two of her classmates (I am not making this up I swear) All are average but the tsundere was cute.

Finally lets get to the message of the anime. So here it is. If you see someone getting bullied/discriminated against, do not under any circumstances intervene. Coz you know, the people suffering will have a "plan" in their head and you standing up for them is akin to you ruining their "grand master plan" So don't do it. Watch them suffer in silence and let the bullies win. I swear I am not making this shit up.

The first six episodes are fun because the characters and world is still being introduced to us. Once we get to the "story" part, the anime goes downhill and never recovers. My recommendation is to avoid.
