I liked Attack on Titan a lot, but that may just be because it suits my tastes. Sort of reminds me of a shorter FMA with Eren playing the strong-willed protagonist equivalent to Ed, but not as good of a series. And I'm sure you could contact her on last.fm or something if you ever want to, since I believe she still goes on there. I just thought I'd mention that since she asked anyway, but that's about all of my involvement.
I was meaning to watch Zankyou no Terror at some point. How is it so far?
While you're at it, watch No Game No Life. Probably the most fun I've had watching an anime in a few years, and it's only 12 episodes (though it needs a second season).
Yeah, shorter series are definitely much easier to watch for me since I don't get the agonizing feeling that I'm never going to finish it. I'll watch a long series here and there, but I find you almost always get more entertainment in anime with less episodes because it's not as slow-paced. I'm also a bit hesitant to watch anime while the manga is ongoing out of fear the anime will catch up too soon and run into filler arc after filler arc.
And yeah, I was never really into ping pong either, which I assume is the case with most people who watch it. I just watched since it seemed like an original idea. I think it's more about the characters, their motives, backstory, etc, than the game of ping pong/table tennis, so being indifferent to ping pong shouldn't be much of an issue. The animation style threw me off for the first couple of episodes since it was so unlike anything else I had watched, but you'll get used to it.
By the way, I talked to Eve recently and eventually she got around to asking if you still come on. I told her I haven't talked to you in a while but that I might be able to contact you on MAL. Haven't talked to her in a couple weeks, but not sure if I should message her anything or what. She said she's grateful you introduced her to other music.
It all goes downhill from there. Lol, kidding. I'd seriously recommend you watch Ping Pong The Animation. I think it's something you'd enjoy. It seems like your generic sports series on the surface, but the depth it goes into with its characters and their emotions in just 11 episodes is pretty amazing, imo.
Hey, I just saw the message you left. Sorry for the late response; I haven't checked my comments in a while. That's awesome you got back into anime... Lol, I find it funny I was recommending the new HxH to you a while back, and now you're all caught up while I'm still behind :'(. Life's okay, I suppose. I transferred to an alternative school a couple of months ago where you get credits for the semester per course so I could catch up on mine, and I'm apparently now somewhat behind according to what I heard on Wednesday and all, so I'm not sure how much time I'll have to watch other anime outside of the break. How are things going for you?
