Okay, well judging by your list I think either Steins:Gate or Aku no Hana would be good recs. Steins is a little more laid back at first, but really lays on the psychological weight later in. wheras Aku no Hana is a bit more serious in tone, and tells a very unnerving story! (you can also pick up on higurashi where you left off, I definitely enjoyed the new seasons)
