Glad to hear you enjoyed your Sonny Boy rewatch. Madoka rewatch or a first time watch? I wonder what you'd think of it, since your favourites don't exactly scream, "Magical Girl fan" to me. 17-26 is cool but it's hard for me to get invested into the shorts given they don't run for very long. Their visuals aren't too bad, one of the episodes felt very much like a Monogatari which was a surprise.

I completely agree with you, but looking back at them is the killer for me. I like writing though, they're typically just kept private. I should get around to writing more, given you've inspired me to a little more than I was prior. Formalities or not, if my point is made, that's my biggest worry; I'm not sure how others would feel about that statement.

I gave Sunny a 6 :). I think about the cast pretty often and how the narrative portrayed said cast. Matsumoto Taiyou is a really great at writing subtle characters who interact with the world and each other so fluidly. Great read, and that ending pieced everything together for me. I should reread Gogo monster.

Thanks for letting me know! The first two movies are mostly the same as the TV series, but they look absolutely gorgeous with some scenes slightly changed (partly to look even more stunning). The third movie is... Very surreal, about as much as Paprika. But it's worth watching

Different people like different things about Madoka. But I personally like the tough decisions the characters make and the rough consequences of their actions.

Overall, it's only 12 episodes (not counting Rebellion and the upcoming movie), so I think it's worth a try.

Sonny Boy is a good watch, can't really go wrong with either choice. I'm inclined to watch more, mostly for Pino's antics.

I got through one episode today, and I'm planning to knuckle down and watch a few more, so as to not let it be another show I have left pending. Those two seem neat together, and I'm warming up to Pino's antics.

You really got through it, glad to hear you liked it. From what I did watch, the direction and effects weren't bad at all, and it adds a lot to the tone of the show. BL rarely worries me, as long as it isn't seen as exploitative or purely for erotic sentiment, like far too many manhwa.

Feel free to read whatever, just bare in mind they might be written atrociously. I can't lie, I found out pretty recently how to open up the notes on my list, since I just nabbed the preset mal style lmao. I feel the same way, even if it's a short comment that's enough, though I'm usually content with scores, just because I don't expect people to write too much.
