Sometimes, a one-shot doesn't need dozens of chapters to leave a mark and this is one of those rare stories that manages to say a lot with very little.
what really hooked me up to it was that there’s a lot of silence in this manga, glances, hesitations, body language and the artist nails it. It feels genuine, not forced.
Autismo-matsumoto's hesitance isn’t treated as weakness, but as part of his growth while Rei isn't made to be a "symbol" or object of pity she's strong, blunt, and real.
This is one of those rare one-shots that leaves a lingering warmth in your chest. If you’re in the mood for something short but meaningful, give it a read. You might end up liking your own flaws a little more, too.
