When you first look at the title and cover, it seems like it'll just be a pretty generic fantasy yandere harem romance, but there's a lot more going on underneath...
Aside from the amazing interpersonal relationships and character development, there is absolutely nothing going on underneath. The story IS fun, don't get me wrong, but the MC's use of his powers and methodological approach of traveling through the dungeon are inanely predicable. The art style and mangaka's use of paneling are great for the story, but there's something a bit lacking that I find hard to describe succinctly.
After that last paragraph, you may wonder why this review is still marked as "recommended" here's why: The characters and relationships are fucking AMAZING. The title may lead you to believe that the story will be a yandere monster harem, but the characters relationships are so much deeper than just that, and the characters motivations past rote survival are compelling enough that I, as a person who normally prioritizes world building and coherence over all else, ignored the sparse world building and delayed coherence for the sake of these characters.
