*Monogatari Series (Anime Release Order)
Anime
This order is the result of Shaft's production delays so it's not the most popular order, but it has its own advantage for first-timers as well regarding enjoyment.
Highly recommended to watch the Blu-ray version as a lot of animation decisions are changed due to financial restraints in the TV version.
Summary: The Kizumonogatari films are put off until later on in the Final Season rather than after Bakemonogatari (LN Order), and Hanamonogatari is watched after Monogatari Series: Second Season rather than in between arcs.
Delaying Kizumonogatari until later on adds more to its sense of mystery regarding major characters' backstories, but in return sacrifices context for future arcs and takes away the importance of main characters' relationship development.
Made in collaboration with Squashbucklr and YoshePlays.

Placing Hanamonogatari here places more emphasis on the actions and weight on the dialogue of the characters rather than highlighting a sense of mystery or reflection in this order. It was initially placed after Kabukimonogatari and before Otorimonogatari in the light novel.

It is generally said that placing Kizumonogatari here adds a larger sense of mystery regarding the relationship of core characters, whereas watching it right after Bakemonogatari sets up their relationship faster for more emphasis of their relationship throughout the whole series.
