Isekai Quartet
A comedic story takes some of the most prominent isekai'd characters and their comrades transported into a high school anime setting, forcing them to go through all of the typical high school anime tropes.
This was a genuinely great idea and their inability to understand just exactly what they're doing there makes it an enticing watch. I have this series to thank for introducing me to Saga Of Tanya The Evil (2 seasons, 24 episodes.)

Konosuba: God's Blessing On This Wonderful World
Kazuma dies and embarrassing death. Appearing before the Goddess Aqua to determine his reincarnation, she gives him the opportunity to bring anything with him. Much to her surprise, he chooses her.
You can't mention isekais and not mention Konosuba. This is too stupid for words and a lot of people like it, but I find the characters to be wholly unlikable and it ruins any enjoyment I could get out of it. Konosuba: An Explosion On This Wonderful World is a spinoff for Megumin, which made me despise her even more than I already did. That's said, I want to be YunYun's friend (3 seasons, 33 episodes, one OVA and a spinoff.)

Kuma Kuma Kuma Bear
Spoiled Yuna plays a VR game all day when she is one day transported into a world where she is given a bear suit as a gift from the developers for long-term play. What she doesn't realize is she's transported to a different fantasy world from the game she use to play when she puts it on.
After a solid start, I found Yuna to be quite unlikable when we get to season 2, but overpowered Yuna becomes an icon for strength and success and the supporting characters and stories around her make it worth watching (2 seasons, 24 episodes.)

Loner Life In Another World
Haruka recognizes that his class is being summoned as he's seen in manga and anime. He attempts to escape it, but can't. The last student to show, he gets the "crappy leftover skills." Insisting he live his life as a loner, he makes the most of his skills, unwittingly become a popular hero among his classmates.
This was a lot better than I thought it would be. The story is lighthearted and Haruka stays loyal to his character type - give it a shot (HIDIVE, 1 season, 12 episodes.)

Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid - (R)
Miss Kobayashi, a heavy drinker after work, ends up in the mountains and finds Torhu, an injured dragon that escaped her world. Removing the arrow lodged in her body, Torhu takes up Miss Kobayashi's offer to be her maid and turns human, with her horns and tail visible! Much to her disappointment, Miss Kobayashi doesn't initially remember this offer right away, but concedes.
This is super-ecchi, but fun, with excellent dub execution by Sara Wiedenheft as Torhu and Leah Clark as Miss Kobayashi. A movie for young dragon Kana titled "Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid: A Lonely Dragon Wants to be Loved" is coming in 2025 (2 seasons, 27 episodes and a 16-episode collection of shorts.)

Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation
Rudeus, a shut-in NEET loser is chased out of his apartment by people he owes money to and is struck by a car and killed. He's reincarnated as the son of Paul and Zenith Greyrat. Rudeus is surprised to learn that he's endowed with new abilities that he has to use to figure out life in the new world while using his memories from his previous life as a guide for do's and dont's.
Some people think this is the greatest isekai of all time. I can't say that I agree, but the execution is great. Rudeus is a POS person and it persists as he lives his new life. That said, it's still a good watch (2 seasons, 49 episodes with season 3 coming in January 2026.)

The typical high school class summoned to another world trope with poor execution and a predictable and boring storyline. If you need background noise, this is a viable option (HIDIVE, 1 season, 12 episodes.)

A junior high girl dies and is reincarnated as the villainess in an otome game she was playing. Wanting to avoid all of the bad things Catarina Claes does, she perseveres to make everything turn into a happy ending while navigating a harem of male suitors and the surprise attraction of female characters among her.
This is one of my favorite villainess shows and you will not be bored, though Catarina is a little...dense (2 seasons, 25 episodes.)

Haruka loves fantasy worlds and pines to be in one. When he's struck by a car trying to save a child in the street, he lays in a coma and gets his opportunity. Unfortunately, he's not blessed with the gifts he craved. Thankfully his sister is blessed enough to protect him.

No Longer Allowed In Another World
The "other world selection truck" (aka, truck-kun) denies the poetic Osamu the desire to die hand-in-hand with the love of his life. Refusing to perform the duties he was selected for, he travels looking for his love in hopes that she has been transported to the same world, all the while interacting with others and building a strong character.
This is an excellent show. Strong characters, beautiful story telling and an unconventional MC makes it stand out among the inferiors (1 season, 12 episodes.)

Japan finds a portal to a new world and wishes to educate its inhabitants in the ways of the the otaku, bringing over the most accomplished NEET they can find. Little does Shinichi know that it's not about sharing his love for all things otaku.
The story is interesting with an MC that makes it worth watching at least once, but as with a lot of isekai, the story falls flat at the end, though only a little (HIDIVE, 1 season, 12 episodes.)

Quality Assurance In Another World
Haga is a game tester that has been sent into a VR game to identify and troubleshoot bugs, but he and the others that go with him get stuck and are unable to logout. As one of the few testers left that's actually doing the job he was sent in for, he perseveres for the sake of finding a way out while accompanied by an NPC named Nikola.
This has its moments and the concept of having an NPC actually take part in the story is unique, though it's not always engaging (1 season, 13 episodes.)

This show is epically better than the title would lead you to believe. The characters make this special and the storyline is consistently executed excellently (2 seasons, 24 episodes, season 3 announced.)

An excellent show and by far my favorite dub role by Monica Rial, you would be doing yourself a disservice by not watching it (1 season, 13 episodes, 1 OVA - not dubbed - and 1 movie. Season 2 announced, but no updates have been provided in the 2 years since.)

Lloyd is a superior boy in every way, but doesn't see himself that way, leading low self-confidence. After failing to join a military academy due to a misunderstanding, he sticks around town working part-time while students and staff hunt for him so he can be admitted as an asset to the kingdom.
The shows isn't anything special and seems committed to that a little too much. An antagonist doesn't show up until episode 7 and never takes a serious role in the show until the last episode (1 season, 12 episodes.)

Mikami is murdered by a man with a knife and reincarnated as a slime who is named Rimiru Tempest by the legendary dragon Veldora. He does some amazing things, despite only being a lowly monster.
It's good, but repetitive and there is no challenge to him and what he wants to accomplish. The supporting character are what really makes this special (3 seasons, 78 episodes, a movie, multiple OVAs and The Slime Diaries 12 episode spinoff.)

A pharmacist that works entirely too hard, dies in the night and is reincarnated as the son of a pharmacist in another world.
