A stack about vampire manga that are either light-hearted and/or set in summer, perfect for avoiding the sunny weather outside. I also wanted to include lots of different genres. :)

There might be SPOILERS in the description of each individual entry.
Shiki
Manga, 11 vol, 2007 Me:- Author:9
If you are a fan of Stephen King's "Salem's Lot", this is the manga for you. The basic premise is almost identical. Some suspicious people move to a large mansion on the countryside and begin to turn the whole village into vampires. I think the setting of rural Japan in the middle of summer world so well and is just so atmospheric! I cannot recommend this enough! If you like anime there is a great adaption as well!
Karin
Manga, 14 vol, 2003 Me:- Author:8
A cute manga about a teenage vampire girl falling in love with her human classmate. Her unique physical condition not only allows her to walk beneath the summer sun but also causes her body to produce too much blood. Instead of sucking blood like the rest of her family she has to donate blood regularly (by biting someone) or she will get the most extreme nose bleed causing her to pass out. Luckily her love interest is more than willing to help her out.
Kekkai no Noah
Manga, 5 vol, 2018 Me:- Author:6
A story about vampires fleeing the daily stress of hiding in human society and enjoying their summer holiday on a cruise ship instead. Of course they bring a lot of unsuspecting humans along.
Contains explicit and extremely violent gore!! Has some decent world-building, but leaves a lot to be desired story-wise. Still a short enjoyable read overall.
Rosario to Vampire
Manga, 10 vol, 2004 Me:- Author:8
Our generic shonen harem protagonist gets isekai'd (not really) to the demon wold or whatever and meets cute monster girls. The main girl is of course a cute vampire lady who has the power of pink hair and gap-moe going for her. Discard every knowledge of this series you think you have by watching the god-awful anime. The manga gets surprisingly good and even the protagonist has to experience some hardships.
Rosario to Vampire: Season II
Manga, 14 vol, 2007 Me:- Author:8
Season II is even better than the first installment in my opinion. It gets more serious, the fights get better, the characters get fleshed out and the art becomes gorgeous. Who knows, there might even be some kisses...
Vampeerz
Manga, 9 vol, 2019 Me:- Author:-
If you are a fan of yuri and vampires this might be the manga for you. It had some pacing issues in the beginning but was kinda cute.
Mahou Sensei Negima!
Manga, 38 vol, 2003 Me:- Author:8
This manga is not exclusively about vampires but has increasingly more vampire content as the story goes along. Also it is one of my all-time favorite shonen manga so I want you to spend your summer holidays binging the whole thing. Anyways it has one of the most powerful harems In the entire world featuring over thirty potential love(?) interests. Really nice world building and gorgeously detailed background art.
Kuro Bara Alice
Manga, 6 vol, 2008 Me:- Author:9
This is a really unique manga that I think not a lot of people know about. Our protagonist is a typical Japanese OL who gets killed or run over or something. A nice vampire who just happens to walk by picks her soul up and transplants it into the body of his dead lover. So she naturally becomes the queen of the local biseinen vampire lair. Has some interesting (and disgusting) concepts of vampirism that I have never seen before!
Bakemonogatari
Manga, 22 vol, 2018 Me:- Author:-
Not exclusively about vampires either but the protagonist was once a vampire but got turned human again but still has some vampire powers and...Yeah, if you don't know this series already, just read or watch it. Just a masterpiece that lives from its witty dialogue that is littered with symbolism and references to Japanese mythology and so much more. It is also set in summer (kinda, most of the time(?)) and has some overall summery vibes to it so I think it fits this list perfectly :D
For more vampire content I recommend the "Kizumonogatari" anime which is the prequel to this series.
Blood+
Manga, 5 vol, 2005 Me:- Author:7
If you not only like vampires but vampires fighting monsters you will definitely not be disappointed by this manga. The anime is also quite popular I believe.
Our TYPICAL HIGHSCHOOL GIRL protagonists awakens one time as the bestest, strongest vampire QUEEEEN as one does and goes with her trusty butler on a rampage to kill some monsters. And all of that in broad daylight. Vampires these days...
Blood Lad
Manga, 17 vol, 2009 Me:- Author:-
A vampire meets the love of his life, an uwu joshi-kosei that tragically dies the same day. Instead of endig the story right there he goes on a comedy gold road trip with her ghost to bring her baaack...to life.
Owari no Seraph
Manga, ? vol, 2012 Me:- Author:7
Generic shonen dystopia meets vampires! If this sentence in itself excites you, this is the manga for you. Erens whole family is killed by evil vampires who took over the world so he vows to exterminate each and every one of them (except his lovely osananajimi who gets turned into a vampire so maybe he will indeed make an exception because I mean who wouldn't, god help me, are they gay or not?! I mean while we are in shonen territory the vibes I'm getting from those two are just (✿˘ω˘)˘ε˘˶ ). Am I just imagining things?) Needless to say the art style is quite beautiful and some of the characters are definitely nice to look at. If you are a part-time fujoshi like me you will most likely enjoy this one...
Sengoku Vamp
Manga, 5 vol, 2015 Me:- Author:-
Did you think I would dare to disappoint my wafuu-otome-fangirls? Not today, I got you covered! We (the heroine might as well be a self-insert) get transported to the sengoku period because of some generic chosen-one reasons aaaand meet some historic generals except they are totally hot! I mean, of course, would you rather have them sport a chonmage??
The hottest one of them is also a total nice guy™ and offeres to make us his concubine because he is stuck in an arranged marriage. Yeah besides that he really IS nice and soft and gentle BUT then he almost dies and the only way to save him is to turn him into an evil vampire!!! Don't even ask me how the story gets to that point, find out for yourself! Sooo he is equipped with the power of gap-moe (yeah, that's my thing okay?!) and is really cute one moment and then when he gets thirsty he is just ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)...
Red Beryl ni Sayonara
Manga, 3 vol, 2016 Me:- Author:7
A BL set In 1960's Japan which is kinda cool I think. Sooo the protagonists almost gets crushed to death by some random falling steel beam (as one does) but luckily your friendly neighborhood vampire just happens to pass by and save him. So naturally our grateful, naive hero decides to live with said vampire and they enjoy a lot of sexy times together.
Poe no Ichizoku
Manga, 5 vol, 1972 Me:- Author:9
A melancholy and almost dream-like story that follows a clan of vampires and two children who are forced to stay young forever. If you like "Interview with the Vampire" this might be just the manga for you.
