(I am only giving this manga an 8 out of nostalgia reasons, what I would actually rate it would be a 7.4)

At one point in time, this manga used to be my favorite manga ever — well, that was 5 years ago, and in 5 years, the author has released a solid… 10 fucking chapters. Yup. Hiatus after hiatus, and it’s still somehow being published. At this point, I want this manga to get axed because of how bad the schedule is. Even the manga that only gets updated once a year is better than this — that at least has a schedule. I just hope the anime will carry on the torch…

Putting my rant aside, this manga, from what I recall, was one of the first of its kind — reincarnated as a side character in an eroge. But as time passed, this manga lost its charm. Not because anything changed in its story, but because nothing changed. It’s the same old cliche type of story with not much development. A once unique and charming concept is now everyday, and this doesn’t do much to make it unique.

I mean, sure, the art style is beautiful, and the MC’s abilities are unique. However, besides that, everything is just so bland.

The MC seemed somewhat charming at first, but he later dumbs down into a perverted train wreck for “comedy,” and I can’t help but be disappointed. Also, the side characters’ personalities are so inconsistent.

Though the real issue this manga has is its pacing. Everything moves so slow… until it doesn’t. It skips scenes from scenes, and relationships change so drastically from one chapter to the next that you can’t help but wonder if you missed something. It’s all just unnatural developments because the pace of the manga is horrible.

With that being said, it’s still slightly enjoyable because of the art. Seriously, the art is the only saving grace this manga has. Everything else is typical of your average eroge story, and it’s so underwhelming.

I’ll still be reading this, or perhaps I won’t. I’ll have grandkids by the time chapter 11 gets released. Well, who cares. Actually, scratch that, save your time, don’t read this, and wait for the anime—you're welcome. I just saved you 5 years of blueballing. (I love and hate this manga smh)
