Synopsis
Sentenced to death for the crime of sadistically killing his entire village, Neneo is all but ready to accept his unfortunate fate when he is mysteriously bought and saved by the wealthy heiress Freya. Solely off the premise and artstyle, I really wanted to like this manga, but it continued to disappoint me in every possible way due to the lack of pacing that the author has employed. From plot point to plot point, chapter to chapter, and panel to panel, the manga fails to smoothly introduce, flesh-out, and continue each ending, which kills any form of seriousness and engagement.
The pacing of this manga is god-awful; seriously, to make a serious and heart-tugging manga, there needs to be a strong foundation in the establishment of characters and plot, but this fails to do so due to the trigger-happy read more
