Is love meant to be romantic? Is it for the sole purpose of keeping each other feeling more complete?

This story follows the two main characters: the apathetic pretty boy Souji, and the free-spirited Mika. A feeling that is left from reading this story is best portrayed as bittersweet.

The complexity shared in their feelings for each other highlights the many stages and types of both love and relationships. I really enjoyed this read because is it was refreshing for a manga of it's genre. We typically get the romantic-type of setting in which both parties adore each other and work towards the goal of being a well-functioning couple. This is a different version of that.

This series was well-illustrated with flowy lines and anatomy that reminded me of Kojima Lalako's works. Thin young adults who are discovering both themselves and themselves in the eyes of others. The softness of the author's style really gives the slice of life feel. Despite Souji not having much facial expression, the way the author illustrates his other features say so much more and that impressed me greatly.

If you're wanting a different type of BL from all your readings I do recommend this. It makes you question love and how much of a necessity the things done in a "regular" relationship are.

My only complaint is that it was short. Though that also adds to its charm. I would have loved to see this as a full fledged series. There are so many elements and stories that we could get into (like some family backgrounds and why the characters act the way they do... cause really, they're not all too normal haha) Nonetheless, it was bittersweet in both the plot, and length.

This manga was extremely short and an easy read for something to distract myself. The story was fairly basic and the plot was predictable, but enjoyable. The main problem that this manga had was the brevity of it. It was so short that not a lot of the characters were able to be fleshed out and made real. The mangaka had a great character and story base but did little with it. If we were only given a few more glimpses into either of the main characters' backgrounds or the ending was expanded further it would have been a great manga rather than just an OK one. I feel that if the mangaka revisits this series later and ads a follow up or something else it would improve the story quality greatly. All in all, I feel like this story is a great beginning, but lacks the depth needed to be a complete and finished stand alone work.
