Story
Coppelion is a fascinating story to say in the least, with a similar setting to Deadman Wonderland in terms of an earthquake being the cause of the current problem. One thing that Coppelion establishes quickly is the fact that each arc is long and forces the reader to care about the survivors and the Coppelion. Being a story where the characters themselves aren't too sure of whats going on behind closed doors they mainly focus on evacuating the survivors left in Tokyo. The arcs at times do feel like they drag on a little bit but in the long run you end up appreciating the read more

I used to watch this manga's anime adaptation and my prepubescent mind thought the plot and production made this series very captivating and underrated. After remembering this series a decade later, I decided to read its manga. I had mixed and very conflicting thoughts about it and will be summarizing them below:

Pros:
- Initial worldbuild where Japan was struck by a nuclear disaster was very interesting
- Genetically modified superhumans disguised as highschool girls added to the appeal (bonus lore where it was explained that they decided to wear their school uniform prior their deployment)
- First few chapters were really focused on rescue and how not all read more
