Eight Bit was originally Satelight's first studio and was involved in the production of several works including Noein, Sousei no Aquarion and Macross F. It became independent in September 2008 under producer Kasai Tsutomu. Its headquarters is located in Suginami, Tokyo, Japan. The major line of work is planning and production of animation programs and 3DCG work.
