| The only anime I rated a 10 from the past 10 years is Diamond is Unbreakable. It was the closest thing to slice-of-life in JJBA and also somehow managed to tell a compelling story about one of the worst villains in the JoJo universe at the same time. I would love to hear your choice and reasoning. |

| JoJo Part 4, 5, 6 (because it's JoJo, duh, I love all of JoJo.) My Hero Academia (This is tailor-made for a Shounen audience, I watched it when I was a lot younger and enjoyed it a lot, I might not love it that much if I were to watch it for the first time at this point. I still rate it's sequels very highly because I have great nostalgia attached to this show.) Re:Zero (This is literally my #1 favourite anime of all time, I can't explain in short how much I love it.) Rascal does not dream of Bunny Girl Senpai (An excellent romance anime, that has compelling drama as well as fair bit of comedy, and all the characters are likeable in some way.) Darling in the FranXX (No matter how much people trash on this, I'll be it's strongest soldier, I loved the whole thing, including the ending.) Vivy: Fluorite Eye's Song (A very unique sci-fi anime, short but compelling, I love it.) Summertime Render (Great ensemble cast, great mystery and suspense, amazing concept of plot and execution.) Frieren (This isn't #1 on MAL for nothing, it mixes elements of Battle Shounen and slice of life in the best way possible, enjoyable characters, calming atmosphere, etc.) I'm not including sequels to other anime, otherwise the list will be huge. |

| Solo Leveling s2. Had a great adaptation and while there were sum things that I questioned like removal and changes to the series, I was still fine with it. Tho, this is bc I rate by enjoyment so it achieved that rating of perfection. Bleach tybw c3 was a significant step from the inconsistency that c2 had in production. Pace was better and way more enjoyable. c3 had a score of 10 and c2 had a 9.5 (anilist). Vinland s2 was a breathe of fresh air and was adapted well. |

And well, as for my reasoning, I don't think I necessarly have a bias towards newer shows (or any genre in particular), it is just that I watch a lot more newer shows (because they catch my attention more than older ones) so naturally they'll have more of the top stops. The closests shows to being a 10 (when they are a 9) are probably Legend of the Galactic Heroes, Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, Violet Evergarden, Heavenly Delusion and like 3 parts of Mushoku Tensei. So yeah, that at least doesn't scream bias to me, but maybe it does to other people. |

| Not the first time I've heard that lol. I mean, I just love to consume any type of fiction. Like my most given rating is 8 (7 and 9 basically tied for 2nd place) but I don't see myself as a "generous rater" (when I dislike something I show it), I just like a lot most things I consume (something that at least partially is affected by the amount of research I do about said things before actually consuming them). But you actually have cool taste (imo) so I would probably say it is nothing to be ashamed of. |

| Which modern anime did you recently rate a 10 from the past 10 years? I don't know if AOT counts, because it has started more than 10 years ago, but many parts have started later and are less than 10 years old. I gave the whol e show a 10/10, just because in terms of quality, it's at the very top and the story is quite good as well. I'm not the biggest AOT fan, but it's difficult to give it a lower score (maybe for the last part if you don't like how it has ended). If AOT doesn't count, then I've rated only 2 entries 10/10, which are less than 10 years old and one of them is only a part of a show. | I only gave your name and frieren a 10, i have close runner ups with how one piece currently is going I would be giving it a 10, but since it isnt finished i cannot, and we have solo leveling season 2, as the first and only manwha ive ever read, i have to say its an amazing adaptation, however just a bit below a 10. |

| Recently? Pluto. Very excellent writing, direction, and animation. All without wasting a second of their somewhat limited episode count. Made me cry about robots (making me cry is a quick way to top my list lmao). Before that, I rated Suzume a 10. Again very pretty, good writing and pacing, etc etc. It also just hit me in the feels by acknowledging abandoned places used to be places people frequented, lived in, and loved. My sentimental ass didn't stand a chance. (it also made me cry). |
