| Honestly, my top three favorites were probably the only three returning pre-2025 series I watched (not counting two cours continuing on from 2024 into 2025), which were: -Arknights season 3 - The Apothecary Diaries season 2 - Reborn as a Vending Machine, I Now Wander the Dungeon season 2 (this and Apothecary are close - I ranked vending machine one space above it in my Top 5 for series of 2023, in 2023 when they first debuted, but I think that its second season was a little worse than its first whereas Apothecary's two seasons for me would probably be roughly equal) Excluding those and just focusing on the new ones though: 1.) Tasokare Hotel 2.) Ruri no Houseki 3.) Ameku Takao no Suiri Karte 4.) Sorairo Utility 5.) Gnosia 6.) Kowloon Generic Romance 7.) Kijin Gentoushou 8.) Apocalypse Hotel 9.) Ballpark de Tsukamaete! 10.) Debu to Love to Ayamachi to! Honorable mentions also worth acknowledging outside the Top 10: - See You Tomorrow at the Food Court - Leviathan - A Mangaka's Weirdly Wonderful Workplace - Uchuujin Muumuu - Shabake - Shirohiyo - Reincarnated as a Neglected Noble: Raising My Baby Brother with Memories from My Past Life - Fermat no Ryouri List, as always, subject to potential alterations as I watch more 2025 series in the future, whether they were ones I knew about as or close to when they aired and just didn't get around to at the time or are ones I only discovered later. I'm finishing a number of 2025 series late. I watched Shirohiyo quite late (it was a spring series I only started and watched the first three episodes of in October, then didn't come back to until the end of the year and only finished in the first week of January). Just finished Let's Play: Quest-darake no My Life a few days ago and probably going to finish Hotel Inhumans tomorrow. And after that I still have some episodes of Uchuujin Muumuu and Summer Pockets to get to. Beyond that, I hope then to get into Wandance, Ninja to Gokudou (saw the first episode of this one), Sanda, Lord of Mysteries, Witch Watch, Wei Miao Rensheng, and a few others, and then hopefully backtrack to get back to the 2024 series I skipped over at the time. |

| After only recently realizing that deep down in my heart both Gnosia and Toujima Tanzaburou wa Kamen Rider ni Naritai deserve a 10/10, 2025 went from being a good anime year to possibly my favorite of all time (at least top 3). 1. | For my top 5 it would be: 1 - Takopii no genzai 2- Kuroshitsuji: Midori no Majo-hen 3 - Hikaru ga shinda natsu 4 - Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru S2 5 - Dandadan S2 I didn't dislike the other animes I've watched, it's just that they weren't that memorable... Also, I didn't watch that many anime last year because I was working myself to exhaustion (which is worse this year btw) |

| Chi started in 2024, but its second half was in 2025, and it's an excellent example of how you don't need to be all flashy or all cute or the like, straightforward, conventional, but very intelligent storytelling works best when animated too. HanaShura offered a delightful blend of quality character-based narrative and the use of animation to enhance the vocal performances. Hundred Girlfriends season 2 continues to be very funny and with lovable characters. NinKoro was also very funny, inventive, and with a nice line in social commentary. Yofukashi no Uta season 2 perhaps even improved on its first season, with some very interesting storytelling and great use of aesthetics. If I had to pick a single anime of the year, it's probably this. Bad Girl another comedy, maybe not as objectively good as the others I'm listing but it's a perfect match for my personal sense of humour. Tensei Akujo no Kuro Rekishi might just have become my favourite modern isekai. It's such a clever idea and it gets some great jokes out of it. |

@weebtoge Considering this list, even with your busy schedule you still managed to watch good anime, like Takopii, which had a very beautiful and high-quality animation style.
I won't say I understand you since I don't have to work that exhaustingly, it doesn't even happen for a whole year, and I have a lot of free time. So I wish you luck, and don't forget to avoid accumulating too much stress and always stay rested; switch off your mind when necessary.
