| Watched it twice. First time, in cinema and the second time, I recommended it to my coworkers and watched it with them. My favorite scenes were: - Tanjiro transparent world with Akaza insaaaanse move. - at the end, Hakuji hugging his wife and seeing his father and mentor. This scene broke me and everyone. The movie was amazing all around. That DS at it best. |
| I watched this at my theater, English Dub because I'm a filthy normie! 🤪 It was good. Demon slayer movies > Demon Slayer the show. I mostly went out because my brother was interested. I don't regret it. Went to a nice theater where the seats reclined, and got a popcorn and drink. |
| genuinely a masterpiece. seeing it in theater made the experience INFINITEly better too. so sad about seeing what happened to shinobu and i realized a lot of symbolism during those scenes, but i feel it was a necessary start to this arc honestly. the fight scenes were so so good i dont even have the words to describe it. and i really liked the pacing of this with the flashbacks and backstories, it all felt perfect and opened up about akaza's character (still hate him). soooo excited to see the next movie. a 10/10 from me |
| My only issue was that the Akaza flashback felt like it lasted longer than the fight. It took too long to me. And Shinobu....that was heartbreaking. And Zenitsu....BEAST MODE!!!! The art and animation....ufotable on the big screen? Do I need to say anything? No, ok. The only thing I could put as a warning is new fans of demon slayer, DO NOT START HERE, you need to watch the series first. Overall gets a 9/10. |
