| Honestly I think cherish your body as much as you can (and your mental wellbeing), you probably don't understand how good you have it. I did absolutely nothing bad or wrong to get the body I have, and it's given me so much pain and suffering over the years, and getting recognition and treatment was a nightmare, it reshaped my whole life and it still does. I really don't know why people want to make their bodies worse with substances or alcohol, believe me being sick absolutely sucks, even more so if you have a terrible or uncaring healthcare system. |

Because effects can't be seen in an easily observable timespan more gradual over years so it becomes more of the immediate effects of feeling a little better a little while. |

| @Tressym I get what you’re saying about talking to people face-to-face, but I think the "or else you’ll become bitter internet goons" part is over the top. People can be socially active and still be bitter, gooners or misogynistic. Face-to-face interaction is sound advice, but it’s not the only factor shaping how someone behaves. Also, some people struggle with social anxiety and have trouble with strangers. Props to Bocchi the Rock for delivering us this wonderful show on socially anxious people. (I mostly replied just to reference Bocchi xD)  |
