| Marin without her usual make-up looks as cute as with it. Wow, this game turned out to be a really dark and grim. Poor Marin. Not only she misunderstood Gojo, but she also couldn't muster enough mental strength to confess to him. Well, perhaps by this season's end something like this will happen. After all, she mentioned doing it once they are done with the Coffin-theme group cosplay. |

@Thoguht They would NEVER change the ending , the director of the anime said multiple times that he doesn't want to disrespect the original material.
If you meant that they will maybe expand it or give more scenes to the ending maybe but no way they change it.

When she was crying because her Imagination!Gojo's reply felt too real T_T That short conversation with Nowa and Kensei being rejected while not there was hilarious. Meanwhile Gojo is so so thoughtful. To even buy ingredients that will help her diet over a passing comment. Thinking it was nice to hear Marin's family stories. Marin will fall more in love like this w I think I have to re-read the manga because I think more text on the horror game is added in the anime? I played similar games before (off the top of my head, I can recommend End Roll, Dreaming Mary, Wadanohara and Doki Doki Literature Club haha), but I tried looking up more before when I got to this chapter. Ahh I miss playing games like this. I want to pick some up again. I really appreciate Dress Up Darling for the in-universe anime/games they introduce to us. And the love and careful thought is shown in how the production adapted it, it's very high quality that I'd actually love to watch/play them. I love how Gojo gets into what gets recommended to him too. It is a bit difficult this time though, as someone who loves his family a lot ^^;; |
 My favorite thing about this episode is that while Marin is literally going crazy (first thinking about having sex with Gojou, then struggling with the confessio) Gojou is literally chilling, playing games and cooking fish. Although Gojou also struggled in this episode while playing game (btw the game is great, has some DDLC vibes, i would like to play it irl). Also its cool that they showed selfharm in anime, i thought they would censor it. This is the first time i seen someone so impressed about game that when Marin asked Gojou about breakfast he run to vomit. Btw Marin is so cute after a shower, so thats what she looks like at home. And another scary fact: Marin had dark hair as a child! So her hair is dyed? I thought that was her natural color i mean its an anime so why not) Marin is clearly in love with Gojou, but its really unclear how he feels about her, since his thoughts arent shown. I think he would agree to date her, but honestly that story of him starting to ignore her is actually very realistic. P.S. The hoodie is FIRE. |
| We’re nearly caught up to point I stopped reading the manga because I couldn’t tell all the characters apart in their nun costumes! 😳 I’m hoping the anime being in colour and having voice acting will make it easier to understand who is who. |

| Some random thoughts: Just like the last episode, I enjoyed getting into Marin's head. But just like last episode, it was a bit strange to see her like this. The normally energetic girl, who is bold and easily makes decisions, became a pile of mush lol. One moment she's excited getting ready, then pushing back when Gojo was close to her her, to then falling asleep. Flash forward and finally she was disappointed it DIDN'T happen. Her thoughts and feelings were all over the place. Honestly, given she has no idea where Gojo's mind is at, it makes sense. And I did find the whole scenario amusing because it was such a tonal shift in her character. That crying scene, you feel so bad for her! I thought for sure Nowa was going to catch on that Marin was talking about Gojo and tell her how crazy she was. But unfortunately that didn't happen. Glad Marin came to the conclusion she should say something regardless. I hope there's some development soon! Great episode. |

| God I wish Hitsugi was a real game, even as a fast-paced montage it was plenty harrowing and disturbing, and the art is really pretty. Pixel art horror games always hit different and feel extra creepy imo, Gojo is so real for his reactions lol |

| Either Marin’s love for Gojo is blinding her, or she doesn’t know him as well as she should by now after spending so much time together, you’d think she’d be able to tell what he’s thinking and how he’d react. Still, we can brush it off as just a bunch of teens trying to figure themselves out. As for Gojo, he’s clearly developed feelings for Marin, but she’s just too bright for him, and he can’t imagine actually dating her. The only way that’s ever gonna happen is if Marin’s the one to confess first and that’s the only way. |
| It was nice to watch an episode that primarily focused on the 2 MCs rather than side characters, reminded me more of S1 which I've liked better up to this point. Regarding Marin's misunderstanding, I knew she would end up disappointed because even if she was nervous she still wanted Gojo to make a move and she even wore special lingerie. While I'm hoping for a confession I won't hold my breath, besides Marin needs to prepare for the upcoming cosplay event then she can (hopefully) make her move. |
| Great. Kitagawa already and finally realized that Gojo would have never decided to go from 0 to 100 without all those steps in between thar are all probably still too scary for him. And... Wow, that game was frightening, and watching her surrounded by random guys made me feel afraid of kidnapping against her. Hopefully it won't have further consequences next time. Finally, at the very beginning i was convinced both of Kitagawa's parents were passed... Glad that at least one was seen as alive, instead. Small Kitagawa was adorable even before dyed hair too. |
