MH or WF would be a better choice but since P.I.G. can do collaborations with bigger budget shows like SnK, they're not that bad either. |

I can't even remember seeing Hinami's father dying in the manga though, just that it was implied he died... I only hope that |

| This is what I was afraid of, the FEELS are back, now my heart is broken again T_T but still not a fan of this adaptation though, the censoring and everything ... just NO! It doesn't do justice for the manga in my opinion. It's so rushed, so much happened in this episode, if I didn't read the manga I'd probably not be able to follow the story. For everyone who reads this, GO READ THE MANGA, it's so much better!! |

| This episode was the most saddening and depressing episode of the show so far. Also, I'm not sure about the cliffhanger, I feel like they are trolling us and actually Kaneki won't meet the little girl, but hey, it could turn out that I'm utterly wrong about this. Anyway, I've reviewed Nishiki, he's growing on me. |

| 12 pages into this thread and all I've seen are people commenting on how beautiful Touka's kagune are.... but no one bothers to screen-cap the shit out of it! :P I have to agree though, the scene could have been more powerful if Kimi was more awestruck by Touka, and if Touka's reaction to Kimi's comment was more... dumbfounded? Actually, I wonder why they didn't end the last episode with Touka sitting on the roof, that scene was just perfect for an end of episode setting (they could have added some powerful music to it as well). That said I really like that they seem to have tamed Nishiki, given that Touka spared Kimi, I can't see him as anything more then a secondary good-guy now. Oh and Hinami, poor Hinami.... she's gonna live through her entire life traumatized by the fact that she inadvertently led her mother to her demise. What a shitty childhood memory..... And yes, Ryouko's maternal love was a sight to see. So beautiful, and yet so fleeting. I wonder how they'll deal with the aftermath of this now... By the way, the censoring is still SS-ranked: Super Shitty. Bring on next episode!!! |

| Maybe I missed the anime explanation of a kagune, I think I pretty much get what its suppoed to be, but I just feel so confused at what exactly it is. From an anime only watcher the censoring this episode has been the only time to get on my nerves. I think if there is going to be a second season, Ill wait till the blurays to release. |
| Wow I don't remember most of the first part of the episode happening in the manga. I knew what was coming up with the Hinami and mother part but it was still edgy to watch. Hinami really acted like a stupid kid that was kinda rage I also like how Touka told Tsukiyama to eat himself lol |

| Well, I'm glad that the arc with Shuu is over, he was such an annoying character. This one seems a bit better, whole this family theme, but it really felt like plot device, they were forcing it onto Hinami for the feels. But I doubt her mother will die, Kaneki coming to rescue. Or she would die and he would have qualms because he wouldn't be able to save her. I still don't know where this is all heading though, they should concentrate on Kaneki in the first place and move the story around him. I couldn't care less about Hinami, she isn't portrayed well and I would rather know something about Rize. |
| Good episode. I'm starting to like Touka more. The scenes with Hinami and her family were kinda sad :| Dat cliff hanger tho. 4/5 |

| RIP TSUKIYAMA! I'll miss him, he was an amazing villain. I absolutely loved his character! RIP to Hinami's dad, even more sad. Amazing beginning! That was deep when Nishiki's girlfriend told Toka that she was pretty and that Toka was so shocked by that and didn't even end up killing her. The animation during the Toka and Tsukiyama fight was amazing. I'm so sad Tsukiyama is dead! Nishiki has changed he's still an asshole but he's really changed his ways, good for him I'm very happy by that. But yeah, amazing episode. The ending with those guys being after Hinami's mom was so sad. I have a big feeling that Hinami's mom will pass away as well. Very sad, either way amazing episode 5/5. |

| I thought the anime was good. but after reading the manga, I think the anime is a bit rushed. I need more action and less censoring. Can't wait until Kaneki fights suing his mask. |

| Well this was probably one of the better episodes thus far. Not that I hate this show or anything, but I cannot figure out how it has above an 8 in the ratings. There has been nothing that impressive about this show yet. I know some of the manga readers have not been too pleased. I hope it keeps getting better. |

| Another amazing episode! So is Shuu already dead? That was kinda fast to be honest. Opening didn't even played yet and he's already dead O__O Seems Nishio is one of the Anteiku members now. Still glad Touka spared both him and Kimi. Poor Hinami. It seems both of her parents are dead before they get together. So that was Jason's actual face?!?! He seemed an S Rank enemy, but is he a ghoul? He doesn't have his kagura or at least he hasn't shown it. I'm kinda disappointed how fast things are happening. Just wish they gave this a proper adaptation like some studios did like Production IG to Shingeki no Kyojin. Gonna be interesting what happens from now on. Can't wait for the next episode! Want more Touka please!! |

| Those white beams dow... Seriously, I wasn't really annoyed by the previous censorings, like putting the screen in negative, but that... I thought his head was cut in half, but apparently his arm was cut off. I couldn't have told if I hadn't read it in the comments... Anyway, except that, it was a good episode in overall. Poor mom, her death flag was so big. But can Ken (that sound weird) do it in time? I have no doubt that he'll come across Hinami, but I have the feeling they'll be too late. Touka kaguna is pretty cool. Look like a nice patern of flames. The Dove weapons are so weird, but we finally saw them. They look pretty much like kagune, am I wrong? |

| the censoring really hurt that opening fight scene, although i do feel it was a tad rushed but maybe that's just me i was expecting it to be a closer battle than what it was... even with censors you could tell he was messed uo!!! what a way to lure mother and daughter out with their father/ husbands scent... cruell mo fo! gotta admit really liking the show, its hard to judge pacing and stuff when you haven't read the manga and you don't know what's filler and what's not! |
