| .Hack Sign is not connected (that much) to the games, only the lore is. If you want to play the games, start with Kite's story first, which is .Hack Infection. Then, go with the .Hack G.U. trilogy, which is one of my favorite of all time games. .Hack Link is the last one with an actual story, and should be dealt with last. .Hack Versus, which is the newest one, is just a side game. The anime does not cover all the stories, some of them only cover parts. .Hack Roots, for example, only expands on what happens before the events of .Hack G.U. |
