| I just don't understand why they decided to do a recap over 5 years after fam aired..and to top it off ..it already had not just one but recap episodes in its intial run...sometimes i don't understand how the industry works. |
| For money, guys. Gonzo recently bancrupted and are trying anew. Recap movies are cheapest way to earn something with small effort. |

| A decent attempt at cutting this two cour series down to just 2 hours. The main story beats are all there but none of the soul of the series and the character building is here so the whole thing is unsurprisingly a shell of it's former self. I love the two Last Exile series, the original is one of the best Anime ever made imo. Fam the Silver Wing is an interesting though wholly over ambitious follow up and cut down to a 2 hour movie the experience is lackluster. A film made for financial gain by a company in struggle, rather than a film made out of need. Though these recap films seldom are. |
