Greetings jiggs and jigglettes,

I love everything .hack, does anybody else here share the same love for the series???
I personally have only played .hack//G.U. excluding volume 4 and am almost done with the .hack Roots anime. My love for the franchise started when I was (approximately) 11 and continues to this day.
Does anybody else share the same love for the series? If so, then what is your story?

Regards,
M.

I caught a brief glimpse of it while at my cousins house. They had cartoon network on in their living room, although I was the only one in the room at the time and I remember being captured by the art and animation style. It really was cream of the crop for any disney movie or anything this show would stand out as visualy very appealing. The music might have made an impression as well. And I didnt think much about the show for like 3 years or something. Netflix was new at this point and had striclty rental dvd through mail and probably from looking up anime online i decided to rent the show, ended up buying the collector set of it then too. One thing I remember, it had cool pins of the pig pet that you can get in 'The World'
I recently was able to get the soundtracks that were exclusive to apple also. Up until recent years you had to track down a cd and I never did, but I have always loved the music. Just heard music from Earth Maiden Arjuna, similar kind of blending old folk and modern sound esthetic? It came out 1 year prior, I dont know if that specifically inspired this or it was a wider trend or coincidence.
Outside of this season I haven't seen anything else from .hack, there was a time I wanted to get the games, anyway I will treasure this show :)
I was never bored by the show, there is good pacing and plot/character developement, suspense. So I'm glad cartoon network aired this show and I stole to the living room that day for 5 minutes, enough to make this not just one of my favorite shows but in general a fond memory.

I've been a fan since SIGN first graced the shelves of my local video rental store. I've seen, played and read almost everything related to the franchise with a few exceptions here and there. Dunno what my favourite entry would be... I liked a lot of the light novels and the movie was really good.
