| There are two different version of this comic online. The first version is the one on Kakao and Tapas, which relies more on usually ugly 3D. The other of which is available on certain scan websites (that I won't mention to avoid MAL ban) has seemingly painted over many of the scenes with 2D art. The panel layout/dialogue seems to be identical, apart from the obvious difference in translator. This difference seems odd to me, especially as the two versions trade blows artistically with the 2D version from a scan website subjectively looking better in many scenes. I'm also amazed how few people I see talking about it. Why was this somewhat major change made and which is the newer art? Here's an example of a couple of panels side-by-side. Kakao/Tapas version on the left, scan version on the right.       |

Scanlation sites usually use the Korean version and official sites usually start translating a manhwa much later than scanlation sites. the problem usually with this arrangement is that the manhwa is already a few months old so sometimes they might redraw some stuff according to the updated art and sometimes it might be done due to censorship though it is most likely the first case in this scenario.
| @Rai04 What I don't understand is why they seem to have replaced the 2D versions that have personality with low-poly, low-resolution 3D assets that lack the same flair. Some scenes on Kakao definitely look better (such as the dragon eyes image I posted above), but other ones seem like such an obvious downgrade I don't get why they would redo the chapters to remove the 2D art. |
