Luffy really went in on both Hordy and Noah, but he’s gotta do what he’s gotta do. To make things clear, LUFFY AIN’T NO HERO! HE’S A PIRATE! HIS MEAT IS FOR HIM ONLY, AND HE WON’T SHARE! DON’T EVER MAKE THE MISTAKE OF CALLING LUFFY OR HIS CREW HEROES! The rest of the crew backed up Luffy well by ending off the nobodies before Luffy could return to the island, because they know Luffy doesn’t mess around.

Luffy is pounding and pounding Noah and because of his badassery, he was able to get Shirahoshi to summon the Neptunians to take Noah away from the island. Don’t forget that Shirahoshi is the Ancient Weapon, Poseidon.

Jimbei knows what’s up, hence why he gave his blood to the future Fifth Emperor, meaning that he’s one of the few who has had the honor of having his essence inside of Luffy (DO NOT MAKE THIS WEIRD). Luffy asks Jimbei to join the crew, but we know that he has to take care of some business with Big Mom, and we know how that goes.

This is coming to an end, and I’m looking forward to the return of One Piece! AND THE GREAT NEWS IS THAT THE ENGLISH DUB IS FULLY CAUGHT UP! LET’S GO!

The fights were cut very strangely, which made the pace feel rather disjointed and ethereal, but the parts with Noah and the Sea Kings were done in a compelling and well-paced way. Half-decent, half-meh.

This episode felt the most disjointed at the beginning with the Hody fight and Noah, they cut ALOT out there.

But the ending of the episode is one of the best moments of the show.

Joyboy and a promised time references, what could they be referring to exactly...

First half with the disjointed fight wasn't exactly prime but it definitely made up for it in the latter half.

Easily the best episode from this remake. Seeing the elephant gattling gun in action as well all the other attacks like Radical Beam in one episode instead of being tretched out in multiple of them was the treatment the original material needed. We also had the mention of Joyboy and the emotional encounter with the Neptunians. Then there was the iconic blood transfusion that stands for everything this arc has been about.

It's sad that this is almost over since only the epilogue is left. I'd like to see the announcement for another remake like this in the future. I know of a particular arc that really needs it.

What an fantastic episode!
One of the best, in my opinion. Luffy's insanely determination to save the island, only to be stopped by Shirahoshi that invoked the Neptunians (even though Luffy also hear their voice, with the references at Joy Boy), and of course, the most emotional scene in this arc - Jinbe saves Luffy's life and he will join soon the Straw Hats. I always cry when I see this scene.

“One of the best parts of the series” is an overstatement, it’s super predictable.

Great episode!

The "fight" ended in seconds with luffy attacking in serious mode lol, nothing that hody could do to prevent it, that's the proper pacing for this fight, hody never had a chance to begin with, the ending wasn't so emotional like the original but it wasn't bad either, it is what it is.
To be honest, I thought these last episodes would feel weird with the pacing of 4 chapters, but it isn't so bad, they managed somehow with good decisions in their cuts. Now I'm ready for the big season finale.

Hope we get punk hazard remaster soon.
I loved watching this arc remastered (and I didn't end up hating it like I did with the original), I know it's not the remaster we all wanted but still is better of what we had.

The desperation of Luffy to destroy the Noah is so great, you've got to commend it.
Whitebeard & Joyboy mentioned!!

Fun Fact: Some of the Neptunians' appearance was revealed in the first opening of One Piece somehow

I liked how the battles with all the insignificant officers of Hody were dealt with quite quickly.

It all just makes sense.. so many things connecting at once with the Neptunians, Shirahoshi, Joyboy, Roger, Luffy, Noah. This is why I love One Piece.
These moments are what make One Piece for me, so special.
Who are the people Neptunians are referring to, those that could fix the Noah? Could they be referring to the W-people?

Tamate Box. Gotta remember that one.
Love the Chopper gag.
The scale of Shirahoshi is so variable.
I love Jinbe, and how the themes of this arc just.. connected.

Despite being an just above average arc, this arc has its moments that just hit so well.
I loved this episode so much.

One thing I don't like about this arc is how every single Straw Hat got a one on one fight minus the 2 girls. like seriously...
Ether way one episode to go but still wish they stretched it to 25 just because since it's the 25th anniversary special and all.

JoyBoy? What?
Shiraoshi call of the marine monsters to stopped the Noah!!!
What is the real point of the Noah in this adventure, no arc, if not general adventure?

The blood is red, all have teh red blood!!! Tearful!

Cool Luffy´s proposition to Jimbe!!!!

All the Mugiwara fights felt way too fast but they were still pretty good, same for Luffy's one to take down Hody Jones. Though it was good to see the Neptunians coming for Shirahoshi and save the island from the Noah falling down. Jinbe is the goat for donating his blood to Luffy :)
