| it recently got added to netflix with a bunch of others. I guess this is the earliest of the ones they added, but I watched the appleman one first because that was what happened to be randomly suggested to me. I always felt Anpanman himself a bit unappealing in his design, and I know I'm not alone in that sentiment (at least among foreign onlookers), but having watched some now I can definitely see the appeal of the series for sure. There's a lot of charm and the aesthetic is still cool, even with the odd unique quirkiness a lot of the designs seem to have. |
