 The MF Bunko J Autumn School Festival 2025 announced a television anime adaptation of Teniwoha's Mata Korosarete Shimatta no desu ne, Tantei-sama (Killed Again, Mr. Detective.) light novel on Sunday, revealing the main cast, staff, a teaser visual (pictured), and teaser promo. The anime series will begin airing on TBS in April 2026. Voice actors Rikuya Yasuda (Beelzebub-jou no Okinimesu mama.) and Shion Wakayama (Dandadan) are starring as Sakuya Outsuki and Lilithea, respectively. Sound Production: INSPION Edge Music: Shuuhei Mutsuki (Lycoris Recoil) Music Production: Nichion Studio: LIDENFILMS Teniwoha began penning the mystery romance series under the MF Bunko J imprint in August 2021, featuring illustrations by Riichu (Hikikomari Kyuuketsuki no Monmon). Kadokawa published the fifth volume on March 25, with the sixth volume going on sale on November 25. Inaba drew a manga adaptation on the Dra-Dra Flat♭ digital manga from July 2022 to March 2024. Kadokawa released the second and final volume in March 2024. Yen Press licnesed the manga in English this February and published the first volume on August 26. The second volume is planned for a January 20, 2026 release. Synopsis Sakuya Otsuki is the son of a legendary detective, working to follow in his father's footsteps with his assistant, Lilithea. However, something's different about this high-school sleuth. Wherever he goes, he always manages to get himself entangled in his cases—as a murder victim! When Sakuya is tasked to infiltrate a luxury cruise ship, he finds himself killed once again. But every time he reopens his eyes, Lilithea is there by his side, ready to help him get to the bottom of the mystery...
