'Sekai Saikyou no Kouei: Meikyuukoku no Shinjin Tansakusha' Reveals Main Cast, Staff, Summer 2026 Premiere
 The official website for the television anime adaptation of Touwa Akatsuki's Sekai Saikyou no Kouei: Meikyuukoku no Shinjin Tansakusha (The World's Strongest Rearguard: Labyrinth Country's Novice Seeker) light novel revealed main cast, staff, teaser visual (pictured) on Tuesday. The anime series will begin airing in July 2026.Cast Arihito: Yoshitsugu Matsuoka (Sword Art Online) Theresia: Aoi Koga (Dekoboko Majo no Oyako Jijou) Elitia: Yui Ishikawa (Kanpekisugite Kawaige ga Nai to Konyaku Haki sareta Seijo wa Ringoku ni Urareru) Suzuna: Saori Hayami (Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka) Kyouka: Sakura Nakamura (Kami-tachi ni Hirowareta Otoko 2nd Season) Staff Director: Yuuji Yanase (Isekai Mokushiroku Mynoghra) Series Composition: Deko Akao (Ragna Crimson) Main Character Design: Eriko Yanagimoto (Fujimoto Tatsuki 17-26) Studio: Maho Film Akatsuki began penning the action fantasy novel on the Shousetsuka ni Narou website in April 2017. Kadokawa began publishing the novel with illustrations by Huuka Kazabana in November 2017 and published the ninth volume in September 2025. Rikizou began drawing a manga adaptation on the ComicWalker (now Kadocomi) platform in March 2018. Kadokawa shipped the tenth volume on January 23. Yen Press licensed the manga and light novel for English release in March 2019 . The eighth manga volume was released on July 22, with the ninth volume set to release on May 26.
