 Broadcasting station TBS opened an official website for the television anime adaptation of Kazuki Amamiya's Haibara-kun no Tsuyokute Seishun New Game (Haibara's Teenage New Game+) light novel on Friday, revealing the main cast, staff, teaser promo, and a teaser visual (pictured). The anime series is scheduled to premiere on TBS and other networks in April 2026.Voice actors Yuuto Uemura (Darling in the FranXX) and Kanon Takao (Shin no Nakama ja Nai to Yuusha no Party wo Oidasareta node, Henkyou de Slow Life suru Koto ni Shimashita) are starring as Natsuki Haibara and Hikari Hoshimiya, respectively. Staff Director: Misuzu Hoshino (Saikin Yatotta Maid ga Ayashii) Series Composition: Keiichirou Oochi (5-toubun no Hanayome) Character Design: Hiromi Ono (Rinkai!) Music: Sounosuke Takao (Dosanko Gal wa Namara Menkoi) Studio: Studio Comet Anamiya began penning the romance comedy novel under Hobby Japan's HJ Bunko imprint with illustrations by Gin in December 2021. Hobby Japan published the ninth volume on July 1. Misaomaru drew a manga adaptation on the Comic Fire website from June 2023 to August 2024. Hobby Japan published the second and final volume on October 31. Komochiya began drawing a sequel manga on the same website in December 2024. J-Novel Club licensed the light novel for digital release in English in October 2022 and published the eighth volume on June 20, with the ninth volume planned for February 27, 2026 release.
