| First episode streams a few days ahead. Episode is out now. Oh boy, they didn't waste time with this. Just straight to the sword fighting and the main character Orhun getting kicked out of the party in less than 3 minutes. Some other characters like Sophia and her sisters are also introduced Orhun should be the one to pay attention. The guy is actually pretty tough. Pretty much the intro episode with basic mechanics and lore. Nothing too special about this yet. |

The Jack-of-All-Trades Enchanter Orhun Durn of being let go of his S-Rank "Hero's Party" who cannot support with his magic despite being of his role, his long-time childhood friend and comrade Oliver Cardiff putting him off, alongside Derrick Maudsley and Anneli Wiles who find him rather useless for their endeavors. Instead, Orhun going to the dungeon to find another party abandoning a girl left to die under the hands of orcs, and the 14-year-old Sophia Claudel wanting to thank him, who's part of one of the kingdom's most famous clans, the Night Sky Silver Rabbits. Even the fact that he found her older sister Selma coming to the guild's HQ, and Sophia not knowing who Orhun is given his famous name around the party that has no need of his services anymore, Selma warranting him to be the guide for lower-tier adventurers going down the Great Dungeon in order to keep their sponsorship and the clan running, the Enchanting job is not Orhun's role anymore, but a regular swordsman going forward. VTuber Tokoyami Towa's OP is just kind of average, given that this is her first Anisong. It's an alright start, as typical as it can get. |

| Well at least least it's way far better than those two "Mushoku no Eiyuu: Betsu ni Skill Nanka Iranakatta n da ga" and "Mikata ga Yowasugite Hojo Mahou ni Tesshiteita Kyuutei Mahoushi, Tsuihou sarete Saikyou wo Mezasu" not saying it's meh but it has potential in my opinion. |
| How are Japanese authors not excoriated for reusing completely unoriginal stories, especially these introductions and settings? The setup here has been done 1000 times with almost zero changes. I remember when literally every studio was making a zombie game, film, or TV show and it was getting really annoying that half of everything new was just more zombies; but even in that case, almost all of them were at least trying to be creative and original, and if they weren’t, they never got popular and were mocked for being cliché. Yet here we are with yet another iteration of the exact same “MC gets kicked out of the heroes party for being weak but is actually overpowered and a bunch of cute girls join him” anime and nobody cares. I started the episode and actually thought I was mistaken and was rewatching something else. |

| I Left My A-Rank Party to Help My Former Students Reach the Dungeon Depths! Jack-of-All-Trades, Party of None: Simon Oliver and party members kick Yuki Orhun out of the A-rank Hero's party for supposedly not being good enough. He is going to mentoring less experienced adventurers. Animation is not as good a A-rank Party, harem does not look to be anywhere near as gtrat as A-rank party, world building appears inferior. One high spot was using a pressure glide sword attack against the shaft of the crude orc axe. That brings back memories of fencing club. Unless Ohrun is less dense about romance that Yuki in A-rank Party, this one does not have much chance. |

| Alright so we got a MC who's good at both sword and basic magic ig ? welp for the first episode it did the job of setting the pace and what to expect from the anime in the future episodes, next episode is gonna be ig introduction to the students and stuff i assume . |

| well that looked VERY good! the CGA was highly blended and well above average in quality. i only found two instances where it was noticeable... during the fights when Orn was the 'center figure' in the shot he looked just a smidge different. the facial expressions were... GREAT here and there! but as usual 'normal' facial expressions are highly limited, and the 'average' shot just has 'resting b!tch face' drawings. the old shopkeeper's beard was TERRIBLE work though. it had ZERO texture and no natural movement. it looked like a grey piece of clay on his face and chest. i had a few issues with the writing/story in this first episode. if this redheaded lady INVENTED the multi-class party setup... WHAT THA EFFING HELL!!! did they use before her idea got popularized???!!!??? i'd pay $1 to know THAT! hopefully the OJT trek through the dungeon will explain it. the other issue... the lil sis didn't tell her big sis about the party she joined to piddle around in the dungeon. why not? no explanation in Orn's head (internal monologue) why the lil sis left that detail out... he didn't even question what the ladies were saying about that! she just went with her big sis mistakenly thinking the littler one went by herself. other than those few points, i definitely liked this first episode! hopefully the studio doesn't let the 'looks' of this show slip into a lower quality bracket like many other anime. making the 1st ep look 'damn good!' in order to hook folks at the start... but then later on, allowing the detail work and overall appearance of the episodes to drop into more manageable levels... happens too often. |

MAL's listing for them states they were established in 2016... so they're just a few months shy of being a decade old. perhaps they have been a supporting studio all these years? maybe you should have mentioned that this title is their first 'primary studio of record' effort? |

| Welcome to the Winter 2026 anime season and new year of anime! 🙌🏻 Starting up with my 1ST Winter 2026 anime! I remember seeing this anime getting promoted on Twitter earlier this year in the Spring and I was immediately hooked. Good ‘ol Banished from the Hero’s Party plot! 🤣🙌🏻 We got a badass strong MC and hope to see some good romance spark between Orhun and Selma/Sophia 🤭🙏🏻 and of course, I look forward to seeing the Hero Party and Orhun encountering each other again. 1:00 Goblin Slayer approves 🤣👍🏻 4:00 typical Banished from the Hero’s Party plot! 🤣🙌🏻 At least Oliver, the party’s leader, isn’t a fucking prick like most other party leaders are. But Anneli and Derrick are pieces of shit 🤯 5:20 bruh I think being called a Jack of All Trades is a compliment 😂 honestly that’s what I am. | Based on early score, people look down on this episode because it started as 'kicked from party' used to death. However, it was surprisingly good. Kick was clearly explained, his former party members didn't seem like total morons and some misunderstandings were clearly resolved. Animation is very good, especially for this genre, and characters are likeable. I am hooked. |

| The same trope has been introduced yet again. The guy getting kicked out of the hero's party yada yada yada, he will probably get stronger and take revenge or something. Episode 1 is a 6/10 for me, nothing special even happened. Gonna give this 3 episodes. |

Though the word they used in Japanese is usually translated to "poor" or "commoner", I thought, so this might just be an odd translation choice.

| @Mirality Yeah same, if he was called "Jack of all Trades, Master of None", which is a common saying, it would make a bit more sense, because a Jack of all Trades is OP, but when they're also Master of None, they're very versatile, which definitely has it's advantages but it doesn't excel anywhere. |

At first, I was like, “Goodness, be original for once, for god’s sake. Why are these isekai anime the same?” But I actually quite liked the premise, even though it IS generic. I’m super excited for the teaching expedition, cuz I don’t think I’ve fully wrapped my head around it yet.

| The sister made the holy trinity system, but is too young to have done it. Somehow despite being the best in the world for at least a decade at this point, she's behind the hero party or something. Power leveling newbs is some great thing dude figures out. This really is just a bunch of random nonsense the author put no effort into thinking through. Actually worse than AI slop. |

| @Skuvan Yeah I think either the translation is bad, or the writing is simply bad. Calling him a jack of all trades but a master of none is still accurate since it seems like no one smart would switch or do multiple roles at once. Instead they put their all into their one role in the team. The issue I have is that he says he doesn’t want to be called a jack of all trades and yet he still fights with both magic and the sword. He quite literally is being a jack of all trades by fighting like that, besides, being a jack of all trades isn’t a problem if he’s really good at them all so I really don’t understand the issue due to the poor writing or translation. If they said he was kicked out for being a jack of all trades but a master of none and he decided to prove himself by having multiple good talents, or alternatively refocused on being a swordsman to become really good or something it would make more sense. I mean really as far as these kicked out of party shows go, logic issues are common so I’m not gonna bother criticizing this show too much that alone just yet. |

| Ended up not completing any of the generic slop from last season, so maybe I'll give this one a shot for my weekly junk food, but odds are like the other ones probably will end up dropping by episode 4-6. At least the sisters are cute. |
