after lots of depressing episodes i think this episode is quite a nice break. now i have a new hope that this anime will have a happy ending :)

This episode was significantly better than the last one. I feel like the Moet "omg ur so kawaii" crap was totally gratuitous and incredibly fake, but at least Mariin was wearing clothes when she came out of her ampule!

I think it would be really cool if Marine was Marin’s mom! Plus that would make a lot of sense regarding the similarity of DNA

So it’s pretty obvious that the grey alien cat dude is the renegade (what was his name, Lele?), but I think it would be really interesting if it turned out to be the court judge or something

So Moe-chan has options for shipping? Sasuga! My vote is for the green haired kid. Maybe your adventures with him will involve less pain and death.

This show really has fantastic fight choreography and scene composition when it wants to. Erin vs Melan ranks up there with the best fights this show has done so far. It's weird that Melan didn't know her moves beforehand. Didn't they always train together? He certainly knows her moves now.

It's sad that Erin is basically Chi Chi from the 23rd Tenkai ichi Budokai without the happy ending. My money is on, either no explanation of Melan and Erin's relationship or a crappy one. I bet she will get fridged in the next couple episodes as well. No way Erin is gonna make it to the end of this show.

Why is Mike judging the scientist? Even if he was dodging the draft, he still was a navy pilot. No way this guy wasn't taking lives in that timeskip era.

I guess saving her daughter was enough for Moe-chans mom to give the nagaya crew a break. Are those assholes from school gonna get redemption as well? I sure hope not.

I see drunk guy's wife is there at the nagoya. Maybe this show is actually the love story of Jun's Dad and Mom and all these other story beats are just distraction and fluff.

This episode's name has two meanings. Sometimes you gotta go the distance.
