| I read it. Yes, this manga was excruciating, inhumane and shouldn't be thought of as entertainment. I read Schoolgirl in concrete when I was 14, knowing it was based on a real incident, and I think I regret that. :( Now I just read the whole thing, and I truly feel the need to go for a walk in the rain and snow outside with Mother Nature. It makes me so immensely scared and miserable knowing there are so much evil. Be it in my neighborhood or the other side of the world, it exists everywhere. Evil... evil... I'll take that walk now >.< |

| I read "Schoolgirl In Concrete" because I heard it was based on a true story of Junko Furuta. It was probably one of the more disturbing works of Uziga Waita. He even went light on the level of guro in the manga. The real events were much more heinous. Anyways, her story spawned a bunch of "rescue and vengeance" fantasies for a lot of people and it angers me that her perpetrators are free today after doing to most horrific of acts. We will not forget. We will not forgive. May Junko Furuta Rest in Peace. God bless her soul. My heart goes out to her. Now I'm off to find Hell Girl to see what I can do about those pathetic scumbags. |

| I just finished this today....gotta say, as someone who is used to watching extreme things and has seen some really messed up things in the real world, this was still down right disturbing. What they did to that poor girl was beyond horrific. The other stories were just as disturbing in their own right, but I doubt all of them were real. Still some extremely sick stuff, though. |

It was so sick, so horrifying, it seems like a bad nightmare. Everything she underwent at the mercy of those bastards...she must be a real angel, because that was God-given strength she had. I just can't really comprehend that something so horrible happened to her. I always knew there were "evil" people in the world, but...I guess I never really realized it. The only thing more intolerable, more sickening is that they got away. I'm sorry. |

| While looking at reviews for this manga I thought it was gonna be another "Ichi the Killer". I was so terribly wrong; the graphic violence, mutilation and rape were just too hardcore, and to think that these were true events (some of them) it just sickens me to know people do this too women. The one that really pissed me off was the Junko Furuta's woman in concrete. I was just so enraged, I started to hate the male gender more and more. But if anyone wants to read another Guro manga like this, check out Hell season. I don't know why but I really enjoyed this manga. |

| Had to read this in 2 sits, since after finishing "Schoolgirl in Concrete" my body was all messed up. The other stories aren't really that impactating, maybe because the strongest one was first. Yeah, it's sicker than the pussy-ass handshake and the mom dissection, but probably because it's the one that feels more real, or because the pain laster for so long. |

| Just realized this manga is in MAL's database. The first story legit made me feel so bad although I've read the original story years before. Poor Junko, she deserved better than this cruel world of ours filled with zillion of savages. The rest didn't really give much emotional impact, but the fact that they were inspired from a real case is just really bad |
