| I just noticed this one, looks good from what I can tell ^_^ |
| The fact that it's done by the same guy that did Akagi means I'm definitely going to check it out. However, after reading some info on the show and especially about the main character, my expectations aren't as high. I'm hoping it will turn out good regardless though. |

| Well mahjong is great game so I would be more pleased if it was about mahjong... and main merit of Akagi serie was that Akagi was hell damn cool.... so I don't know if this can beat Akagi.... but I will still look up for it. |

Akagi was definitely cool. He was the reason I watched all episodes of that show. I know squat about mahjong (even after watching all those episodes) but Akagi's character made the whole thing worthwhile. I've never read the Kaiji manga so all I had to go off of was a description of Kaiji being basically a crybaby most of the time. Perhaps it's unfair to compare him to Akagi but that's what runs through my head. Like I said though, I'll be giving it a shot but I won't hold my expectations high. Who knows if it may blow me away when I finally get to watch it. |

| Well the first subbed ep is out, subbed by The Triad. After watching it, I don't think I will like this though. |
