| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- On their way to Okinawa, Kuro and Keita meet up with a new Mototsumitama and contractee, and we get to see some of Kuro's backstory. Obviously they couldn't help but put in all those synchronize sequences whenever they had a chance. Still can't be sure where it's going, if anywhere. It seems sometimes that for the little effort he actually puts in, his action seems to consist of 98% standing around watching Kuro get the crap get beat out of her, and 2% standing around with his fist lit up, still watching Kuro get the crap beat out of her, just not as badly. He has this wonderful tendency to complain and cave. |

| I didn't think it was possible but they nicely fucked up Kuro's backstory, which was already horribly cliche in the manga. I didn't see why they had to rush her backstory since it should have been an episode long. Oh and how comes no one noticed them fighting on the roof, or Hiyou randomly killing that guy? The best moment in this mostly filler episode, was seeing Keita trying to fight again. ^_^ |

| I didn’t expect about Kuro’s past, but I now know why Kuro wants to kill his brother. Keita sucks, period. |

| lol. I think I'm the only one still enjoying the series. Keita was really annoying me, being so wishy washy, but it looks like he's finally turning around. Looking forward to the next few episodes. btw, those who are complaining about the dialogue should watch it dubbed, they fixed most of the super cheesy sounding lines. Plus the voice acting is fantastic. |

| I'm still liking the series, the fight scenes are still epic although I am finding them a little repetitive. I loved Kuro's back story I think it needed explaining, and agree with all above...Keita really sucks...he just stands there as useful as a chocolate fireguard and then all of a sudden...his fist lights up and he still continues standing there. Annoying! |

| It's good to see Keita actually trying to fight the netorare guy. He still got beat up for the trouble, but Kuro wasn't faring any better, so it did work as a distraction. Hopefully Kuro gets a power up at some point so the entire anime isn't just "Keita and Kuro get their asses kicked until the antagonist stops fighting for no reason or gets interrupted". Kuro's brother is a real piece of work too. Not sure if he did care about the shrine, despite what Kuro said. I'd wager he's just seeking even more power, and doesn't care who he kills to get it. The kiss and ring from Excel was nice. I feel like it will spur some development in the protagonists. |
