What is your favourite scene in the manga? Who's your favourite character?
Slam Dunk started off great. I loved the romance aspect between Sakuragi and Haruko. It reminded me of School Rumble. I liked learning about basketball, but after a while it got repetitive and I got frustrated with Sakuragi being overly competitive. I liked that it drove him to practice and be better, but during the games when he wouldn't pass the ball to Rukawa, I would audibly groan. The first 50 episodes, I could kind of understand it Sakuragi avoiding passing because he wants to score more points. But when it came down to the final game against Ryonan to determine the interhigh champions, and he, again, refused to pass to Rukawa, I wanted someone to grab him by the shoulders and say, "IF WE LOSE THIS GAME THE SEASON IS OVER! THEN NO ONE CAN SCORE ANY POINTS! PASS THE STUPID BALL!"
The anime leaves off right after their training camp before the Interhigh Championship.
I see the manga is top 10 on this site, but I gave the anime a 7.
What did you like about the manga?
JJK is okay so far. Mahito reminds me of Shigaraki from MHA and I like the goofiness of the villains, like them playing board games together is cute. I like Toji, too. I'm in Shibuya and he just sacrificed himself after meeting Megumi. Yuuji is a cute lead. I prefer him to Denji from Chainsaw Man. I like how other anime MCs have these growth/training arcs, but Yuuji just burst on the scene like "yeah I'm the fastest/strongest/bestest and you have to deal with it!!"

I keep mixing up Takopi with Hikari because they seem like the heavy hitters this season dealing with tough topics. What did you like about Takopi?
