Hi,there!I'm Iftekhar👋
I'm a hardcore anime fan who's been watching anime for years now.
The first anime I watched was Pokémon, but the show that truly introduced me to the realm of anime was Mysterious Girlfriend X. I've been watching ever since.
Romance is my favourite genre, as it gives me the strength to face adversity and reminds me that even in hard times, there's always something worth holding on to. (although most of them are just fantasies 😅). I mostly watch rom-coms, but what touches me the most is the art of drama. Stories like that are pretty rare, though.
Aside from that, I pretty much watch every genre. If I had to pick a least favorite, it’d be isekai
I rate shows based purely on enjoyment—because, to me, that’s what anime is all about. I don't nitpick or overanalyze anything. I watch anime for entertainment—to escape reality and dive into a fantasy world—not to engage in any kind of controversy.
Anyway, I'm always up for conversation, about any topic. Talking with different people helps me broaden my perspective.
Hope you like my profile!

Senpai wa otokonoko is my comfort manga
When i saw it on your fav list, it really made my day!:D
Well to be honest, it is entirely up to you. I use both MAL and Discord equally a lot so I am comfortable with whatever. We can talk on here if you do not have much time anyways and then switch over. Your call bud.
I appreciate your compliment! I lived in the US for a while and studied English for a few semesters at university, which is where my proficiency comes from, I suppose. I have many thoughts and learning to express them eloquently is a skill I desperately needed lol
As for your question. I am here in Japan on Tourism mainly, though I wanted to see how life is here. I have lived in multiple countries of the world and want to find a place to settle down. Japan has always been at the top of my personal bucket list and now that I am here I could imagine this being my permanent home. It really is as dreamy as Anime makes it out to be. But yes, as you correctly mentioned Japan also has issues and is not completely flawless. Particularly the workplace culture is really bad, yes. You are expected to work long hours and work even when you are sick. You also only get a very little amount of days off per year. The people are super nice though and there is Anime wherever you go. I intend to go back home (Germany, where my family lives) for Christmas and Winter, and then setting out for Japan again. Work culture might be a huge minus but for me personally, I have come to realize that the positives outweigh the negatives and I feel like this is the right place for me to be.
This show really is something else
