I had a 6-year hiatus in watching anime and the girls in my class are the ones that encouraged me to watch this mainstream anime ("Omg girl you should watch My Hero Academia, BAKUGO IS SO HOT", "I think you'll like My Hero Academia! It's like your favorite Marvel characters but in anime!", "SHOTO TODOROKI IS A BOYFRIEND MATERIAL OMG"). I watched it this January and got into anime again. Plus, my seatmate was a Weeb God and most of the anime I've been watching are recommendations from him!
