I'm generally okay with watching almost anything, especially if a friend recommends it. Action, mystery, drama follow closely. Isekai usually has decent comedy, so I don't mind that too
I do have a method of determining if I should watch a show - and that would be testing out the theme songs of a show first.
Reasoning: A theme song reflects the show's nature. If I like it, the show should fall within my liking too
