I thought Ballpark's writing is pretty charming, even though it's very bland in the visual department. Definitely more enjoyable to me than Lazarus.

- I had Medalist as my most anticipated show this pre-season and it's just been disappointing every turn.
- Honey Lemon and Ameku would have not made the cut in any other season. And I honestly should switch Ameku out for a different Winter show. e.g. Tasokare Hotel or Hana, Saku
- Still all better than Solo Leveling.

Didn't watch Dosanko but the other 3 had a lot of merit to them, I enjoyed MakoAko but production wise was a bit sketchy in a bunch of episodes, Bartender I do think the original anime had a lot more charisma to it so I couldn't get behind it much. Frieren had very good production but for me the duality of having actual story arcs and then contemplative side stories doesn't do much, would prefer if it was more focused in one or the other, most of my favorite episodes are of the latter variety.
